Hi everyone. Just joined today. Have been on a weight loss journey most of my adult life. But in the last three years I have managed to move the scale downward instead of upward! Well most of the time.
I am going to be doing a modified version of the 6 week body makeover. I am adding more calories because I think the plan is too low for someone like me who works out alot and has muscle mass. I don't need to lose in a hurry so I am fine with around 5 lbs a month.
The 6 week makeover is basically eating six small meals a day. lean protein and whole grain or fruit carb at almost every meal. Working out six times per week. I like it cause I don't feel hungry eating so often. It is a pain though because there is alot of prep to eating that often. I mostly eat chix, turkey, br rice, & berries with lots of veggies. The actual diet is stricter than what I am following. Your not suppose to use salt or ready made salad dressing but I do. I also add some calories then the original calls for by adding extra oz of protein and 1 oz of almonds a day.
