Default Wow!

Wow! that is awesome. Good for you! Say more......I am curious about lapband compared to gastric bypass......I know very little, but it seems that the lapband is less of a "sure thing" as far as weight loss goes...say more, please!

hi maryblu
statistically it is a slower initial loss, but over time, the loss is about the same. i have known a few bypass patients that unfortunately gain a lot of their weight back. i think with lap band you need to do more work. i really watch what i eat and exercise almost daily (45+ mins of hard cardio)

one thing i really liked when i was researching lap band is that it is adjustable. if i need more 'restriction', i go in for a fill. it is quick and pretty painless.

if you can think of any other questions, let me know.
