Default Mid 40's, overweight and ready to get healthy!
Hi all,
I'm once again trying to lose the extra baggage that I seem to have accumulated in the past several years. I say "once again" because I've lost the weight in the past, and although it's taken a few years, I've gained it back +10 lbs.

SO, here I go again. I've had succes with WW in the past, and am doing it online this time. So far, 6 lbs down! Unfortunately, I pulled a muscle or something in my back last Saturday, so I've had to take it easy the past several days. I'm not going to give up, though. I'm actually looking forward to getting back outside and exercising!

This is my first time at 3FC, it looks like a great place!

There are quite a few of us "over 40" gals here on 3FC. You'll fit in just fine whether you hang out in the 40's forum, the WW forum, or where ever. Good luck to you!

Hi and welcome to 3FC. This is truly a great place for support, advice and encouragement.

Yup, I'm another 40 something gal. 43 to be exact. So like Alinell says, take a look around. There are plenty of places to hang out here.

I hope your back feels better real soon. And congrats on the 6 lbs lost. That's a GREAT start. Good luck to you.

I am 46 and DIVORCED...I am starting all over again and I would like to do it SMALLER!!

Hi everyone, thanks for all the replies! I know being part of an online community can really help me stay on track. You've all done so well so far, it's inspirational! Laura, sorry to hear about your divorce, but good for you for starting over and taking care of yourself!

Wow Rachel, you're doing great! We're the same height! I'm looking forward to getting into the 170's. That's my mini-goal. Good for you! Looks like altogether you've lost over 100 lbs! How are you doing it?
