Round Two!
Hi everyone!
Just wanted to re-introduce myself. My name is Melinda and I am from Texas. I am not new to this site by any means, but I think it has been a long while since I have been on.
Just a little background about myself for all that may be interested. I have been fighting my weight since I could remember. Now being 27, I figured that if I was ever going to do anything about my weight, it has to be now. Not to long ago I jumped on the scale and was shocked to see I weighted over 300 pounds. 301 to be exact. I always told myself that I would never let myself go like that, which is exactly what I did. So….I went on a diet and so far I have lost 16 pounds.
I always joke to my friends about being a “professional dieter”. I’ve read all the books, paid tons of money for the all the weight loss medications, I know how to lose weight, but was never disciplined enough because I junk food. Since discovering how much I weighed, I have cut down on fast food (I eat it from time to time but not very often) and I invest in a Bowflex tread climber which I LOVE. My problem is I loose a couple of pounds and see a little difference, and then all the motivation to continue is no longer there. I am hoping that this site will help keep me motivated.
