If Niels Bohr is correct that “An expert is a person who has made all the mistakes which can be made, in a narrow field,” then I'm an expert at weight control.

These days I have two beliefs:
1. 'Diets' really don't work. I'm trying to develop a Lifetime Eating and Activity Plan (LEAP) - something I can live with forever.
2. If we ate real foods instead of processed faux foods we would be much better off. (or at least I would be better off)
I should probably add a Number three belief -
3. Chocolate is a real food.

Right now, to hold myself accountable while I'm making my own guidelines, I'm following the WW Core plan. Lost 14 pounds in 8 weeks and feeling great.

I'm here at 3FC because I've lurked long enough to know there's great folks here.

On the home front, hubby and I live in New Jersey close to three of the four (grown and gone) children. We enjoy traveling, our most recent trip having been to Aruba.
