seems like i've been here before...at the starting line of what probably will be some of the worst times of my life but then the outcome will be worth it. i've been at my goal weight before but it lead to a hospital visit and the sad realization that i had not one but two eating disorders. well, here i am again and i knew that if i wanted to do this right and not fall back into my old stand by tricks, i needed to surround myself with positive people and not retreat into my own private struggle. I'm a single mom from Bedford, VA who works the third shift. i'm happy when curled up with a book (usually jr ward or laurel k.) and i love to walk...i could walk a million miles. i'm really happy to have found this group and can't wait to get to know ya'll.

Hi, I am pretty new here myself. Welcome to this site. I must say that I come to it at least ten times a day. Although I don't post much, I find this place to be filled with encouragement. Just when I feel like caving, I check this site out and work through the moment. It really helps! Good luck! I remember how hard it was for me to eat healthy working the third shift! yikes. The biggest thing I have learned from this site is to plan plan plan. so far so good! Look forward to seeing more of you.

I am pretty new here at the site as well. Been doing rather well so far.... and I understand about trying to do things the wrong way. I too read alot around here and I get much encouragement. It just feels good to know that I am not alone anymore!!!!
