Hi all

New to the forum. Saw an ad for the site in a magazine and thought it would be perfect. I've put on weight over the last year and am feeling gross - time to get started but have trouble following through. What a great idea to connect with other women going through the same thing.

I want to lose about 50lbs. Maybe more, maybe less - just depends on how things go.

Hope everyone's having a good weekend.

Clover2007, Hey!

Do you have a plan yet? There are lots of programs ranging from simple calorie counting (which is what I do) to different types of diets to organizations like Weight Watchers. Whatever one you choose, you can have success if you stay with it.

Good luck to you!

Clover,
I'm new too (yesterday) and I don't have a clue about using a site like this. I lost 70about 4 years ago on WW and kept it off untill I hit a major life crisis and have gained a lot back. I'd like to lose 30. After keeping it off for 3 years I finally got rid of all my fat clothes and am in a fix now. Maybe we can support one another. Can I add you to my buddy list (if i can figure out how)
Anybody, are there directions I can print out? :-) August Oh, Good Luck!

Hi and thanks for the welcome. I'm don't have a plan yet but I know I don't want to follow a specific diet. Calorie counting and exercise I guess. I need to sit down and figure out what to do so I can get started. I feel gross these days and none of my clothes fit.

Hi there

Supporting one another sounds good. That's one thing I find hard about sticking to something - no one to hold me accountable Not sure how to do the buddy list thing but it sounds good.

Have a great day.
