Hi - I'm Spender. I've having a hard time staying on track lately but this site helps a lot - keeps me busy at night when the fridge calls.
I lost about 40 pounds in the last couple of years - slow but steady. I'd like to try the buddy thing if anyone is interested. To make sure I keep exercising and to help me during the worst time - evening. I was jogging (slowly) but well before I sprained my ankle. Now I'm swimming and walking again. I also count calories and write down everything I eat - sounds extreme but it really helps me keep aware of what I'm putting into my body. My goals are to be heart healthy and about 160 pounds. I'm currently at 203 and started at 246 in 2004. I really like cooking from the GI Diet books. Looking forward to talking with everyone!
