Default veggie question

I'm new to the Ideal protein diet and can ask my coach, but don't want to wait until Wednesday for an answer. Do the unlimited raw vegetables stay unlimited if you cook them? Or does that change them to "select" vegetables and limit you to 2 cups and if so why? I ask because I see spinach and celery on both lists...

Hi 907bea: the unlimited raw veggies are not unlimited if you cook them as you are 'concentrating' the food value of them by getting rid of a lot of the water in the raw veggies. There's nothing that says you can't have 4 cups total cooked and then also eat as much raw in addition..... if you're really hungry. Hope that helps.
