I like ProtiThin drink boxes, btw. Someone here said they were identical to IP's, which I really like, so I got them and would say that was true in regards to taste but there is a difference in macros.
Hi! I freeze it in the box and it is creamy. I take it out about an hour before eating so it can thaw a bit. It really feels like I am eating ice cream. I am more of a salty snack person but this is a nice change.

That is when I originally did IP and it was a great support system, I often wonder how WUV is doing, she lost so much weight and was so inspiring. I need to start again, but I am being the typical, First of the year starter. lol

Bellamack (Karen?) WUV is my FB friend. Actually, I think you are too (;

She is doing great. She had regained a bit of weight but had to re-lose it when she was going for a tummy tuck. She lost with the tuck and just recently had a hip replacement which went well. She moved further south in her state and got a good job with a band which meant she had medical coverage and could have the hip surgery, she was in a lot of pain with that. She just got a different position with the bank and moved into a new apartment closer to her new workplace. I will PM you on FB.

So I am just finished my veggie delight salad from subway, and now working on my protein shake....... a week ago my stomach did NOT feel full THAT FAST. It seems like I get full faster now, and when I feel full, its funny how the first thought in your head is THERE IS NO WAY THE SCALE will go down NOW. Cause I feel like I pigged out. I think with all the years of avoiding food to lose weight, we get /got programmed to link hunger - weight loss. Which we know is wrong now of course. But I still catch myself in the old way of thinking.....

good morning all ! you know what I found 'funny'? during the past week, I ensured I stayed at 18-20 carb as per the food tracker I use on Atkins site. Yesterday, the M&M French onion soup for supper ( I splurged...) was several carbs OVER and put me at a count of 29 for end of day... I WENT DOWN 1.1 lbs! while during the week, the losses were smallllllll while trying to maintain the 18-20. Why?

I don't think it is related. You were due for a "swoosh". Way to go!

Hi LFG2010, I'm afraid the Quest bars here in Canada are not the old recipe anymore... you will notice they are much higher in fat, making them not IP compliant, except for Lemon Pie (if I remember correctly) which is still lower in fat grams. For any of us who have 'graduated' from IP and are now in maintenance mode, Quest will still work OK especially if you are doing LCHF. The trick with Quest is just to make sure they don't trigger cravings for sweets, but it may depend on what the individual bar is sweetened with as there are different combinations for each flavour bar.

Doesn't look dead now. Want me to re-title the thread or start a new one? (I was born in Ottawa, by the way, many years ago)
