Default Measuring vegetables

What is the correct way to measure the vegetables? Do you use a 2 cup measuring cup and just pack them in OR do you use a scale and measure by weight? I found a decent difference between the 2 methods and was wanting to know which is the way the protocol calls for?

I have always used the measuring cup method. Other people who have weighed there veggies have commented how much they have to eat. 2 cups is usually enough to fill me up.

For veggies, you can measure by weight, I found it much easier.
In a measuring cup, it varies so much depending on how small you cut the veggies (think big chunks of cauliflower vs riced cauliflower, big difference there...hard to know which is right)

Here's a chart that shows weight for 1 cup of each veggie
