Thanks for the new thread. I'm moving along here since April 22. I've lost 28 pounds, so about 2.5-3 pounds a week. I'm not the speediest, but it's definitely working. Occasionally tough because I miss having more choices and eating out, but I'm almost to the halfway point. Not giving up now!

So psyched as I have been a member long enough to get a weight tracker added to my signature! Had to add the little dancing ghosts or marshmallows, or whatever they are as they make me laugh. Weigh-in tomorrow and hoping for a nice loss, then I can update my tracker!! Whoo Hoo!
These are such small things but they make the journey more fun, good luck and best to all.

Hi all I'm back at it after phasing off for a 2 week vacation. I'm up 6lb but got back on protocol yesterday and hoping to shed the water weight quickly! My goal is still in sight! Hope everyone had a happy 4th!

Lost another 2.8 this week and am now officially out of the 240's. Congrats on your milestone, Liana and Rae you are so close to goal. So great to see the progress you both made, it motivates me to keep going!
It looks like the weekly loss starts to slow down even on IP, but it is still pretty consistent, and I am trying to just focus on any loos being a good thing, not a set number per week. Any advice on staying positive should a plateau occur? I know in the paast that was when I would cave in and tend to give up and I do not want that to happen this time, so trying to plan ahead and have a strategy should it occur.
Best to all,
Lisa

Congrats on another milestone Lisa! Keep it ip! I am right there with you in the worry about hitting a plateau and giving in, that had been my cycle on pretty much every diet I tried in the last 15 years. I'd lose 15-20 lbs and then it would slow to a creep. But IP peeled weight off me in a way no other diet ever has. I was consistently losing and at a rate of nearly 2lbs a week which was more than twice the rate I'd ever achieved. While I know many people average more than that, it was a boon for me and my progress is what kept me motivated. Not deviating at all, and making sure I stayed in ketosis were my main strategies. I know it's not an easy trick or tip to beating a plateau but my loses kept coming when I kept to the plan. Tell yourself to ride it out and the weight keeps coming off. After a while my menus were so automatic, I didn't even think about it, which I think goes a long way to keeping with it. Best of luck!
