Default losing as much muscle as I am body fat :(

Had my 3 week appt today and have lost about 8 lbs total (5'4", starting weight about 125). My bf analysis shows that I've lost 4 lbs of fat (yay) and 4 lbs of muscle (boo). Why?? I'm following protocol to a T! Is this at all normal???

Did you lose 4 pounds of muscle, or lean mass?

Lean mass is anything that's not fat. That includes glycogen stores, water, muscle, bone.... Most likely your lost lean mass is water and only a little muscle.
