Hi folks,
My weight is up this week. After celebrating my new found freedom after my son went to college and running 3-4!times per week, not sure what did what. I believe it is muscle and I look slimmer but darn doesn't it hurt when you get on the scale.
I know I should be limiting my excersize but I have been tweaking the diet a bit to allow for some added energy for excersize. I feel great and tone and it's starting to show.
Hope I haven't disqualified myself for being honest...

Default LOVING this challenge

I was in Southern Cali this weekend with friends and my goodness there was a ton of food everywhere. I did amazingly!!! I was prepared with my raw veggies, my protidiet breakfast and lunch. My girlfriend thought I was nuts but after seeing that I felt great she is now thinking about doing it too.

I must add I am an amputee so I have some physical challenges. I walked for hours in Santa Monica without pain. It was so great

Can't wait to start seeing the 150's!!

GOAL by Dec 2015...............130lbs!!

Well, I entered 8, but it could be 12 as my scale keeps giving me different weights every time I stand on it LOL
It can't decide if I am 226, 228, or 230, so I went with the heaviest.

and, Ashcamcait3, that is very awesome! Keep it up!

Week 2 WI and I think only -1 lb. Not what I was expecting but it was TOM for me so I'm going to be optimistic and think it was due to that. I've been getting my water in ...staying OP and trying not to stress too much so I can sleep at night...waking up often and I know that isn't good for me. Other than that..being back on plan was like getting back on a bike...easier than I thought..although those moments at family get togethers are still hard because although I am not hungry...I have to remind myself not to reach for the hummus...etc. I've been very strict in the past on IP and need to stay that way this time around. It is a day by day thing..Does everyone else feel this way too..step by step?

Yes, Mae5, it is a step by step adventure, that way if you have a mis-step, it does not take many steps to get you back on the right path

Default Halloween Challenge

I would like to do this! 10 lbs has crept back on, and no more bikini body for me. I know I can do this and lose the 10lbs plus maybe more! Let's do this! Halloween, here we come!

My scale did this in the spring when the battery was wearing down - I would step on / off and see fluctuations of 10 / 20 pounds.

Have you changed the battery(s)?

Yay - I did it! And that's considering the fact that I just broke up with my boyfriend of three years this past weekend. I made a conscious decision not to let my sadness ruin all the hard work that I've been putting in, and it seems to be paying off.

I love you guys - thank you for being so supportive <3

WI today and after 3 wks 2 days i am down 10 pounds...very pleased ..but then made the mistake of trying on jeans that i knew were going to be too tight...ughgh felt awful. i know i can't try them for another 15-20 pounds...otherwise i'll knock myself into "i quit"mode. i am pleased the 10 pounds came off these past 3 weeks and am hoping another 15 by halloween...and another 10 by christmas...i know it didn't appear overnight on my body and the weight won't come off overnight either...might start exercising some..

not on protocol but this is what I've done from day one
one heaping tablespoon of ground flax and a bunch of kale in my morning chocolate shake, blended
never been constipated once on this diet and I'm sure it's the flax that is doing the trick
