I cut out the milk in my morning coffee, so maybe that will help.

This board is AWESOME! I have found several recipes that I think will help keep me in compliance.

Still confused about everything. Unfortunately, my first meeting with my coach and for weigh in is tomorrow, so it will probably not be nearly as impressive as your results. After that, I will be on the right schedule for weighing in.

Thanks for the support everyone!
Yeah, cutting out the milk will definitely help! We are only allowed 1 oz anyways, which is pretty much nothing.. lol

Let us know how your weigh in went!

Default Started April 13

Hi Everyone,
I started Monday, April 13th, so i'm on day 5. Day 3 was the worst for me- I think my blood sugar dipped. I had an extra shake and felt fine afterwards.
I had to travel for work day 2-3, which definitely adds a challenge to things, but I stayed on plan.
So far, I like the chocolate pre-made shakes, the chocolate powder shake, the chocolate mint bar (see a theme here?). I love peanut butter but don't love the krispy peanut butter bar and I will exchange the chicken noodle soup. I've just ordered some WF Syrup since my center doesn't have any, and look forward to trying the pancakes.

I think they key thing for me is to plan meals out a week ahead and find interesting recipes.

How much water were you guys drinking?
I have been drinking at least 64 oz/day at a minimum. Typically more, like 96+ ozs. Needless to say, I'm in the bathroom quite a bit!

Tomorrow will be my 2nd full week on IP. I can't weigh in because we are out of town. I'm scheduled to meet with my coach next weekend so it will be a full two weeks without a weight check. I'm still feeling really good and confident that I've lost some more pounds. Even though I have a long way to go, I've received a few compliments about how I look like I'm losing weight so that is very encouraging. I truly love this diet!

Had my first weigh-in on Tuesday, down 6 pounds. The first time I did this plan I sailed right along, it was soooo easy. This time around I am finding it VERY, VERY difficult!! I almost just had a binge, but I stopped myself amazingly enough. Stay strong!!!!!!!

I'm on day 5 now. Finding it a lot easier than the first couple of days. I ate 5 IP foods the first 2 days because I was STARVING, but that seems to have passed. Today I'm wondering how I'm going to get it all in. Not hungry at all. It's a Christmas miracle, seriously!

Congrats to those who had good losses the first week!

On day 3! It's hard, especially because I didn't fully realize how much I randomly snacked and grazed until I can't eat any of it...plus I've always been way more into fruits than vegetables. Researching recipes and hoping this will also help me make some new veggie friends!

I'm new to the site and am starting week 3 of IP. I've been finding it tough as I'm not used to being so restricted. I have my 2nd weigh in tomorrow and I'm already down 5lbs and 2.5 inches. The first week was brutal and entering the 2nd I had wicked headaches but it all subsided in a couple of days. Can't wait to see the results

Hello everyone,

I am new to this site, and new to IP. Starting next week hopefully. I have considered trying it many times before, but my Chiropractor and his wife are starting to offer it so i decided to give it a go once they get set up. It is definitely inspiring seeing how much people on these boards have lost using this program. I can't wait to start!

Hello, I'm starting Ideal Protein today for the first time. I've had a very long and rocky weight loss road and I'm hoping that Ideal Protein will be my last trip. I'm looking forward to ready about tips and ideas to help me along.

Default Week 1 complete

I had my first weigh-in today. -9.7lbs! I even had 2 full days of travel thrown in. I'm so excited...I know it won't be like that always but it felt great. Days 1-4 were the worst for me (specifically day 3). I went into Ketosis day 5 (metal taste in my mouth and weird pee).

I really love the IP RTD and pudding/shake shakes and look forward to my IP mint/chocolate protein bar every day. I made cauliflower rice for the first time yesterday and anticipate making that a few days a week.

I can't believe how much better I feel now. I don't have that stuffed feeling after any meal and find myself less and less hungry. I don't crave all the carby sugary crap I used to eat all the time. I have 2 weeks of travel in May, but I will stay on program.

I'm Angie and today was my first day on IP...so far so good. I was able to lose around 115 lbs under the supervision of a physician. I've been able to maintain but not lose any more in over 5 years so I'm praying I can get the last 50-60 lbs off with IP
