When I started IP, I spent six solid weeks researching before I started OP. I used that time to read and read and read and to learn from those who came before me. I lost 95 lbs in 10 months. It works! Stick with the plan and don't cheat yourself

Happy New Year , Lisa and all !! I have been reading and checking in occasionally during the past year. As Lisa did, I lost 93 pounds in less than a year. I'm 5'7". I'm feeling great. After having been off for a year and a half, I've gained a little and am rebooting as of yesterday. It sure is a new life and I am thankful for this diet and for this site. I wish you all great success.

Happy New Year! I was on IP Jan 2013 but unfortunately moved away to a community 4 hours away from the nearest IP source. Thankfully I have moved again and get to reboot! I had much success with it 2 years ago and am looking forward to starting this year off with IP

Hi Everyone,
I did IP about a year ago using alternatives! I had great success, but unfortunately I didn't stick with it. Now I'm back and ready to try again and to make IP a way of life!

Hello All, I signed up for IP on Friday, but day 1 is tomorrow. I spent the day purging all of the foods not on the program from my kitchen. I bought all the veggies and protein I will need to eat this week and prepared my dinners for the next 3 days in the form of a beef and veggie stirfry with some 0 calorie, 0 carb and 0 sugar soy sauce. I am ready to begin!! I have been reading many of the threads on this forum and I am excited!

Getting back on track
Well it feels like a cliche to be restarting with the new year. I had great success on this program starting in April 2013 @291 and went down to 160... but hit a wall in the fall of 2014 after a year and a half of very strict adherence. Sooo after a few months of bad old habits and the frustration of having regained (now up to 210) it's time to reinvest in myself. Thanks for the welcome!

Happy New Year all! I am restarting with a new clinic today. I was on it last March but had to stop due to some major dental issues (not related to IP). Super excited and ready to go.

Another noob, here. Today is my day 1, I'm having my breakfast (chocolate drink with coffee) but am having trouble with the supplements... it gets easier with time, right?

Happy New Year! Today is day 3 for me. I have found the food to be tastier than I ever expected, I am also surprised at how full I am. I am on 5 packets a day for a total of six meals, and am finding a bit of trouble making sure I eat all three snacks. Is there anyone else here on 5 packets. It seemed like most people were on three or four. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

That does seem like a LOT. The program is 3 packets, though most coaches allow a 4th packet during the first week as your body is adjusting...and some follow the rule of thumb that allows 4 packets until you get under 200lbs. If 5 packets is too much, try cutting down to 4 for a few days and see how you feel.

I was also told to eat 5 packs (or 5 IP products) per day by my coach. 1 restricted. Today is day one for me. Breakfast seemed like a lot more food than I had anticipated. Had to break it into 2 mini-meals and eat part of it at my first break at work. I had the cheese and fine herb omelet.

Mornin, Everybody!
I was suppose to start IP on Jan 1; however, I came down with a severe tension headache the day before and was unable to start. The headache lasted through until late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. Today is the first day I have felt normal.
I will start between today and Saturday. Gotta get my kitchen restocked with lean meats and veggies.
I did have two protein drinks though. One was cranberry something, and the other peach/mango. YUMMY ! I also had the leek soup which was pretty good and creamy. Didn't much care for the strawberry yogurt drink. It tasted exactly like a strawberry yogurt drink, but, I don't know. There's something gross to me about drinking a yogurt. I'll stick with the drinks sans yogurt and start again in the morning with an egg and veggie omlette.
Some of you report losing 95 lbs in less than a year. That's terrific ! Hopefully, I'll be one with that claim next year at this time.
Happy Monday !
