Woohoo! For the first time ever, I had the big first week "whoosh"!

7.8lbs gone, gone, gone! I know the next weeks won't be like that but it just feels good, if that makes any sense?!

I officially started on Tuesday, so today is 5 days on program and I am down 4.8. I am happy with that. I am making Sundays my official WI day, so hopefully I will see a nice loss next week even though it will be Wk 2 OP for me. Thanks to you all for all the inspiration.
I am still struggling with this headache, but its also week before TOM, so not sure exactly what is contributing to headache...
Have a great Sunday everyone!

On low carb diets you need more sodium. Make sure you're getting ALL your salt every day and to help with the headaches, put some salt on your palm & lick it. Then follow up with a big chug of water.

Sooo excited - I had a big whoosh this week too 4.8 lbs. a bit unexpected as I didn't "feel" different. It is also a huge motivator because I have been really struggling with food this week. Well, not really food, but my mind trying to convince me that this is a crazy time to try to lose weight, January is just around the corner so just relax, its not working, you're jeans are still so tight, blah, blah blah....
I am so glad I stayed 100% and (at times) simply white-knuckled my way through it. Having to weigh in and report this morning helped me stay on track as well as all the words of wisdom and the community encouragement found on this board. IP really works!
Here's to another 100% OP week! Whoop Whoop!

Default WEEK 1 last WI day

Don't forget to post WI for week one by today.

Last challenge we had almost 100 people join but only 20 finished.

Be a participant! Be a finisher! Don't lose your spot.

Yay for whooshes! Some weeks it is wonderful to receive the rewards for white-knuckling

This challenge is a great way to remind us to stay focussed on our own well-being during what can be a very busy time of year.

For me - it's all in the mind! Week 2 - here we come........

LOL, considering I'm a Maintainer with just under 5 lbs to lose, I'm pretty pleased with my 1 week whoosh of 2.2 down. Hang in there all you 'challenger gals.' For next week I'm away on a ski holiday and restaurant eating... but will try my best .
