Runnergrl - it's funny how we lose weight. Sometimes it's a big loss and we don't feel any different and then it's a small loss but lots of inches. Remember that you are losing internal fat too so sometimes it doesn't show up in the way your clothes fit, etc.
This challenge came in at the exact right time for me. This is my first Christmas season on maintenance and I have concerns about my ability to do it right. Posting my weekly weigh-ins is great motivation to stay mindful of what I'm doing!
Ruth Ann - seriously you are a rock star! I have no doubt you can tackle Christmas. Whatever you do, it surely will be easier than last year
Thank you - you gave me my smile for the day! And you're doing fabulously!
It's funny, last year was actually easier. I was in P1 and knew exactly what I could and couldn't have and made my plans accordingly. Now I have a ton of choices and am going to have to work my determination muscle to not go nuts.

You guys are great motivators!
I can appreciate how you would view this year as harder due to the ability to make choices... but I hope you are looking at the end of this year as a special time when your new year's resolution is about maintaining your weight rather than facing the usual challenge of needing to lose the weight. I have not felt that sentiment since I was in the 7th or 8th grade....

You bet! My goal for the new year is to be healthier - keep the weight down, up the exercise, etc. And I agree with not having "lose weight" as one of my resolutions - it's been one for so many years, it's fun to come up with new ones.

I am a happy camper I lost 2.4 of the 4.4 I gained over Thanksgiving.
I hope to be 125 on New Years and not to have weight be my resolution but increase exercise .
Woo Hoo....Your doing great.
I am still in the losing phase, but at least my resolution will not have to be to start a diet this year LOL...I am already in full swing!
