Thank you, that answers my question. Also, there was so much info thrown at me all at once, I should have been taking notes. I am sure the doc mentioned it , I just didn't absorb it all. Thank you for your help.

I just finished week 5, so we're on nearly the same "reboot" schedule. We can do this!
Thanks for the encouraging words - I have been lax on measuring so I will start doing that this month to get those results too - I have begun to notice some difference in the way my clothes are fitting.

And you will too!!!
Hey Trinny, I am also guilty of comparing my losses to other people I know who have done IP and lost about 10 pounds a month, so I had that number in my head. Just goes to show how comparing or setting certain targets can set us up for disappointment! It's totally a bummer - I could easily gain 10 pounds in a month, but not so easy to lose again! Thanks for the encouragement.

After a year on IP, and having been stalled at my current weight for over 2 months, I've decided that I need to phase off for a few months to give my body a rest while maintaining, and then I am going to go back to P1, but through alternatives.
Any suggestions to make the transition smooth?

Hi all - I left work early today so had dinner early. Then my first ever order of Quest bars and chips came and I couldn't get it out of my mind to have a bar. So, I had a Cinnamon Roll! Wow - I am really happy. Love it! It's nice to have some variety. It makes me realize even more then I can do this. Especially if I don't feel like I'm missing out.

This happened to me too. Major Bummer! Because then you have to start counting towards that 1 year mark...again.

Congrats to all the peeps who lost inches and lbs. Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend. I'm going on a Yarn crawl, getting my highlights done, going to see my son's band play on Saturday and going to an Arts festival on Sunday. It will be a busy 100% OP weekend!

Nice loss, GraceRev. Just in time for your holiday, too! Hopefully when you get back you'll be WAY over that -100 line.

Tried some roasted cauliflower for the first time today. Covered it in a little olive oil, cumin, garam masala, hot madras powder and sea salt. Today was one of the few days when I wished I could've had 4 cups of veggies, because it's the tastiest way of having cauliflower that I've ever experienced.

hey catlady and jemma; Women's hormones are wonderful, aren't they?....I haven't had my TOM since 2010, but incredibly bad hot flashes....since I went on IP my hot flashes have diminished to 1 or 2 per day (YAY), as opposed to20+ a day/night and incredibly intense (on fire, brutal!!!). Well I'm down to about 6lbs to loose and the last couple of days...uuugggg, bad hot flashes again....hope this is only temporary....Men Have No Clue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in my 5th week and I love this program!
I'm not too happy with my clinic...they have never seemed interested in my progress...no coaching...just weigh in, pay for your food. This week I asked if I could buy less than 21 packets and was told no. I've ordered some alternative foods from Nausha and hoping I can continue that way. It's so incredibly expensive...but I'm so thankful for the kick off it's given me.

I am a very boring, repetitive eater...I pretty much eat the same packets daily which are the S&V chips and the shakes with a few cereals scattered through the week. Lots of raw veggies and the daily 8oz of good lean meat.

I've really enjoyed making my own salad dressing...

I feel so great eating this way and I can't BELIEVE how my cravings for carbs have subsided. I have such food issues...I've often felt like I could out eat anyone in a contest because I just don't feel full. But after being on IP for a month, I fee so "leveled-out"...my energy is better, some skin issues have improved...

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi! I really hope I can cross over into the alternative products. I don't trust myself with bars and cookies...but I've done so great with the shakes and chips. I don't like experimenting in the kitchen...I don't know if that will change...but for now, I love the simplicity of what I'm doing. I feel nourished and so satisfied.
to the group Becky. You'll find so many inspiring stories in here. And this group really picks your spirits up when you're feeling down and keeps you on track. Good luck on your journey!

As far as I know it's 4 whole eggs + 2 egg whites. I hope I got that right? Can anyone correct me if I'm wrong please. Would hate to give the wrong answer.

The egg amount for the equivalent of a packet is one whole and three whites

The egg amount for the equivalent of the 8oz of protein is four whole and two whites.

I think....

4 eggs+ 2 whites is a dinner protein portion

An unrestricted packet equivalent is 1 whole egg + 3 egg whites

I would like to know this as well. The latest Phase 1 sheet I can find is from June 2012 and lists "4 whole eggs and two egg whites".....
