I'm happy its friday I have one pesky little co-worker who thinks shes the warden of our office, a self imposed job of checking everyone's computer monitors and time in and out. A real life human time puncher ;-)

I have been wanting to ask, does anyone know if we can have the new Quest Protein chips as a substitute for unrestricted IP crisps? I looked at their information and seem pretty much the same. But I've never used alternative items so I wanted to double check.

Thanks!

I just checked the Quest website, and they look good! The calories are on the higher side for an unrestricted, but still within the guidelines!

Welcome back scorbett- good for you for getting back at it now rather than later!
jackie- ugh. The dinner you described is pretty much my worst nightmare. The last time I lost with IP I had to listen to all of those comments (plus some) over the course of losing. And people didn't give it up after I was done with Phase 1 they kept right on harping for the next year that I strictly followed Phase 4. i think it's really threatening when a person makes a change for the better... and for some reason the rule "if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all" ceases to apply when it comes to this diet. It's worth the hassling though. You're worth the hassling. Good for you for realizing it.
jemmal- your coworkers brain has obviously not caught up with her eyes. It's odd but some people don't seem to register you've lost weight until you're at goal. Not sure why. The last 10 pounds seemed to have a huge effect on a staggering amount of my friends (I really wondered how they didn't notice until that point???).

Hi all
Well I blew it today. Went out for dinner with hubby and had some nann bread and dip. My stomach hurts now and I feel sick. It really is not worth it to cheat. Will be downing a ton of water tonight.

Does anyone else sabotage themselves when they are doing really good? I have done this all my life. I lose a few lbs and then it's like a switch goes off and I binge. I really need to read that Beck's book. I have it, just haven't had time to read it.

Hey all, been a couple days since I've stopped by since I have company in town. Hope everyone has been well!

@rhondac — Oh, Rhonda, that is such excellent encouragement and celebration from your clinic! And I hope it means you were the winner! (And that in seeing such great results, they decide to maybe have a regular contest for their clients as that extra bit of motivation for folks—wouldn’t that be cool?!!)

@Sgrealtor1 — Great job on staying OP while on vacation and losing those 2lbs!
