Imanadams: I've been looking at the rotini but it looks so hard and dark on the box that I was afraid to try it. Maybe I should give it a try but I haven't seen the WF alfredo at the clinic.

Today:
B omelet, coffee with IP vanilla RTD
L big salad with lettuce, yellow pepper, cucumber and a chicken soy patty with some chipotle sprinkled in, small diet coke (i've really cut back but sometimes I have one and today I did)
D Big serving of big mac in a bowl. The power went out and didn't come on until about 6:30 so I was trying not to dig into my snack. I survived.
S Haven't decided. Maybe the sour cream and onion puffs (they sound disgusting but I got them by mistake so I might as well try), or vanilla pudding

Phase 1, alternative products (2nd week)

B - Chocolate RTD with coffee = cafe mocha
L - HealthSmart chili with 1 c. bell pepper (one of my go-to's for sure), salad
D - Flounder, 2 c. cauli-rice, #1 out of 4 "occasional" allotment (new week, yay!) tomato & cucumber with 2 t olive oil/acv.
S - Weight Loss Systems Creamy Cheescake Pudding. scorbett got me thinking about this again! Unfortunately I don't love it... putting it in the freezer for a bit helps. I added some almond extract and a swirl of WF pancake syrup for "Nutty Maple Cheesecake" and it was better. Only 12 g of protein though...

My clinic does not sell Walden Farms products either -- you can get them from Vitacost or Nashua or other online sources. I have not tried the Alfredo sauce yet, but I have used the Tomato Basil sauce by WF. It tastes ok to me, but it is a bit sweet -- thanks to ideas from this forum I have options for seasoning it bit to make the flavor better.

The rotini requires a bit more cooking time that most pasta -- once you do that, you will find the color and texture to be not a problem.
