Annie - so sorry to hear of your medical situation - prayers and good thoughts are with you.

randygrl -- I took a photo with my iPhone, emailed it Medium size to my personal email so I could save it to my laptop and then when I attached it to a reply post here, it appeared as a postage stamp. Not sure if that will happen with a profile pic or not, but that's what I can share from experience on 3FC.

Grace under fire, Annie - that's how you sound. What presence of mind to think about comfort food, know it's there, feel that you didn't want that or even something OP, so you chose not to have anything. Wow!! You sound like a woman who is very connected to herself.

I salute you. You will make it through this tough time & be even stronger for it. It may be a tough call to keep OP or suspend that particular project in order to concentrate on the surgery & recovery. Whatever you decide, make it right FOR YOU.

So glad you have good support. And - you don't have to be strong ALL the time. Maybe teeny bits of 'not' sometimes.

You have a lot of support here
