Default Can I split protein?

Can I use 4 oz of meat and 1/2 pkg of IP at both lunch and dinner in the same day?

I hope so because I'm doing it today! Made a yummy dish of rotini pasta, 7 oz of rotisserie chicken, spinach, oil, lemon, and seasoning. I then split it up into 2 meals and had it for lunch and will have it for dinner. YUMMMM probably the best meal I've made so far.

So yes, I'm 99% sure you can do that.

Yes you can as long as you get all three of your packets in and all your protein in. You just want to be carefurl about have too much protein in one meal and spread it throughout the day.

I'm going to be starting IP on Monday 7/14. Have been yoyo dieting for the last 20 years with some success and many failures.....looking to go into my 60's lighter, and with less health problems (High B/P and hiatal hernia). Love the fact that there is actually "support" from all you guys through this journey. WoooHooo, looking forward to starting!!!!!!!!!

WElcome Stanski! I just finished my first week with a 7.8 lb loss. That's important, but the most important thing I see is I feel soooo much better! The third and fourth days were rough, but after surviving those it's been fairly easy. Good luck on your journey and glad you are joining us.

Default Day 4 of Week 1 - so far so good!

Per my home scale I am down 7 lbs after only 3 days on the IP program. I am amazed each time I wake up in the morning and get on the scale to see that the loss was not a fluke.
Yesterday was a challenge as I had a lunch out with an old friend visiting from out of town. I managed to have a green salad and steamed broccolini.. Broccoli bred with some other veggie results in long stem florets... Hopefully no problem with the quantities and selection for the program. Finished with my IP choc pudding that I diluted with water until it was just like choc milk. Generally averted a major cheat opportunity.
So glad to be on IP and grateful to be able to share my journey with this forum!

Welcome! I just began IP this week too.
There is a thread topic created each weekday - and it appears there is just one thread for a Weekend.
I check this one for July Starters and the daily each day. And I keep going back to the sticky thread at the top of the IP sub forum home screen. It has lots of links to recipes and tips and other useful info.

For ticker - here is what I discovered:
Go to User CP (tab at top left of forum screen)
Select Edit Signature
You will find description of ticker options and a link to create your 3FC ticker.
At the end of the ticker creation you can copy the URL and come back to User CP to Edit Signature and scroll down - there is an area where you paste the URL .
I go each weigh-in day to that area and update my current weight - you can see your start/goal/current near the end of the string of code in the URL. Just replace the current number with your update.

Glad to be on this journey with you!

Default NEW STARTERS - Please Confirm!

I have been given a Phase 1 Protocol Sheet dated 6-2014

It was given by someone on line who is a coach (I have no reason to not believe her but also no way to confirm). It is a version of the protocol sheet posted a couple months ago but we learned it was in testing at only a few centers. She says it is now in the coaches Library and is the NEW PHASE ONE SHEET.

ANYONE who started recently - can you confirm this date???I do not want to post until I get confirmation that coaches are using it.

THANKS!!

You will be able to get a tracker after you have been on 20 days (to the minute) and made 20 posts. There is information on how to make a tracker in the first post of the "daily" -- lots of great threads, info, frequently asked questions etc.
Great to see so many new people joining. It's tough to let go of fresh fruit in the summers but there are lots of fresh veggies to take their place

I just began this week and my sheet is dated 7/2013. I go to my coach Monday and will ask her to check the coaches library.

Is 100% the name of the thread - I did a search but cannot seem to find it.

Hi! I'm a July starter. Started last Saturday and already down 5 lbs.

17 pounds to go!

I'm finding the IP food or supplements are upsetting my stomach-but will stick it out and see if my body adjusts.
