Smile New Phase Sheets Dated May 2014

Hi All
I apologize for posting these phase sheet as the have not officially been rolled out and are only being "tested" in a few places. I hope everyone will continue to use the sheets given to you by your coaches, or the ones posted daily by Lisa. It was not my intention to confuse anyone or to interfere with the great success everyone has with this plan!! Again my sincere apologies!!

You're the best!

Oh man, with spinach and cucumbers on the special greens list, I don't know how I'm going to make 4 cups a day... More zucchini!

Thanks for posting this. After reviewing the new phase 1 sheet I have a lot of questions for my coach, although I'd be interested in hearing other opinions as well. My biggest question is this: do we need to change what we're doing to fit with the new rules or can we continue doing what we've been doing?

My biggest issues with the new sheets are regarding spinach and eggs. I often rely on spinach as an easy vegetable, but now that it is a freebie, should I not count it as a select vegetable? And the serving size of eggs just changed from 4 whole & 2 egg whites to 2 whole & 4 egg whites. If I have to follow that, I don't think I'll be eating eggs as much.

Hmmmm...I didn't get think of the unlimiteds as not "counting" ...mushrooms, cukes and spinach are a huge part of my daily veggies. But nice to know that I can up some of these new unlimiteds if I get the hungries!

Interesting each mention of a MAXIMUM of two cups veggies!

I read it as they still count if they are not a small portion of your salad. They are still listed in the veggie section, and lettuce is not listed.

Most of my main veggies are those unlimited. This would have made phase 1 so much easier when I was on it.

thanks for sharing

I didn't notice until pointed out but they cut the eggs from 4 to 2 pluse 4 egg whites. That wil be a big switch because I am not sure how filling I would find this for dinner now as an option.

I guess we will all be having converstations with our coaches this week. Mine didn't mention the change in eggs last week, just the veggies.

I have to say part of me doesn't want to change what has been working so well.

It seems as though those other veggies are unlimited in raw form only. Hope someone who had a really GOOD coach can get some insight since just how it is stated on the sheet leaves it open for dome interpretation!

I see the biggest change in going from 4 whole eggs/2 whites as a meat protein substitute down to 2 whole/4 whites!! Makes me wonder why such a large discrepancy, how they came to the first amount in the first place and how the larger amount may have impacted losses!

It is interesting because I only lost 5.6 lbs in my second and third week combined and I lost 4.5 lbs in 4th week. I ate eggs for dinner a good bit in the two weeks where my losses were slower. I know my losses are going to differ from week to week, but it makes me wonder...

Thanks Naenae. Do you know if the Alternative Phases protocols changed as well for different phases?

I'm curious too, but I am all alternatives now so no coach. I have used a lot of those now "unlimited" raw veggies as my veggies, but I'm lucky I don't have any problem eating all my vegetables I could eat more I LOVE THEM. The egg change is curious, although my sheet from my coach 3 months ago says 2 whole, 4 white... Like I said on the daily thread my brother started this week and the coach changed his sheet, he highlighted the eggs, said it was a mistake and that 4 whole and 2 whites was the protocol, however I don't know if his sheet is new or old.

My weight is always up the day after I have eggs for dinner. It always goes back down, but there is something about eggs that makes my weight go up.

I never noticed any changes in my weight with eating eggs and loved to combine them with turkey bacon. Yum!
