I had another week of 100% on program and had a great result today, down 6lbs for my 8th WI, I've now noticed my best WI's seem to have been week 4 and week 8!

That is awesome dowey! Our bodies do seem to get into a rhythm of losing - I would do 1 or 2 pounds for 2 or 3 weeks and then 4 or 5 and then back to 1 or 2. Funny how that works.

vachinyc: Good to see you! Sounds like you're figuring out maintenance really well.

That's great! I hope I do as well! I had a terrific first WI, but know there will be weeks when I lose little if any. I'm confident if I stay OP it will come off.

Congrats on a great 1st weigh in and you are absolutely right - stay OP and it will come off!

I'm doing the happy dance today! Down 120 lbs in a year (okay, a year and a day, but close enough for me) and a total of 92 inches lost. I am just thrilled!

Funny story, Ruth Ann about all that weight and inches. Very recently when we were going through airport security, I had the crabbiest TSA agent ever, but then it was 4:30AM. I was determined to break him up.

When I gave him my license (first time it even shows a weight much HIGHER than reality) he kept staring from me to the license and back. I gave him a big 'ole smile and chirped "I know it doesn't look at all like me - I lost a whole bunch of weight!" He started a smile and passed me on.

Then he gets to my husband in line behind me - he questions him just "are you with her?" He answered "Yes, and I don't look like my photo - I fought the weight she lost!" (And he did).

Cracked the guy up, so just imagine your many 120 pounds and 92 inches popping up somewhere else!

Ruthann you are simply amazing! 120lbs in one year (and a day) is an accomplishment! Heck, 120lbs is incredible PERIOD. You have all the reasons to feel great about yourself and this achievement!

I posted this in the daily chat, so if you've already read it, please ignore

Just had my fourth weigh in. I lost about 2 lbs, but my coach is concerned because according to the BCA measurements I am consistently losing muscle. She wanted me to add a 5th packet, but I told her I could not afford that. She has suggested me eating 8 oz of cooked protein a night (ie, weighing the protein after it's cooked instead of before). She would also like for me to add 2 oz of chicken to my lunch, in addition to my packet and vegetables. I am concerned because this is not IP protocol. I am looking for advice..I don't want to consistently lose muscle, but I don't want to gain weight from eating too much food.

My coach had me eating extra protein because I was exercising. I was able to lose a lot of weight with extra protein. Try it and see.

My clinic doesn't even have those measuring things. I could be losing muscle and not even knowing it! I would trust her though, especially if she has been doing it awhile. If the scale doesn't show the right results, you can try something else.

I am worried now though. Have started at 249 I never had the four packets that some say I could have.
