I managed to whittle out 16 pounds during the last 12 weeks. measly it may be, but I am quite happy with my progress. I am willing to stay on low-carb protocol until the end of 2014. Why not? I am not suffering from any feeling of deprivation or adverse effects. Overall, I did not meet 25 but I will gladly take 16.
On the summer challenge:
Midway through the next challenge, I have a two-week vacation in my home country. I am not sure how I can persevere with my veggie-protein diet amidst dinner parties and my mom's sinfully-scrumptious dishes. Let me think about and prepare for it.
At any rate, I want to join the summer challenge and plan to shed 15 pounds, hitting 153 by June 20.
