What is your next inspiration clothing item? Or maybe an inspiration event?

Just a bit of fun! What is the next item of clothing that you are looking forward to fitting into/wearing? Or do you have an event that is motivating you to stay OP?

drd1961 01-26-2014 10:19 AM

I would have never purchased skinny jeans, which is hard because they are everywhere. I think they look dreadful on people with heavy thighs and hips....which was me. IP has really trimmed this area down and I have 3 pairs I wear with boots!

Thanks. It was fun going to the banquet last night because most people have not seen me since October, and I was usually covered in paint because I was the scene painter for the last community theater show of last year. I got a lot of compliments.

bluegingham 01-26-2014 11:17 AM

Great topic!

I haven't worn shorts, in public, for 15 years! Can't wait for summer!:flow2::dancer:

VikingBride2Be 01-26-2014 11:24 AM

Hubs & I have been planning a fabulous trip to DW since our girls were babies. I have always been excited, but now, thanks to IP, I will be able to keep up and go on all the rides. I will be able to truly enjoy the whole experience with my family :running:

LisaAnn 01-26-2014 12:04 PM

We have a Change of Command ceremony and an military ball in June. I REALLY want to wear a new pretty dresses to both of those occasions.

djs06 01-26-2014 12:38 PM

30th birthday in June... Hoping to buy a cute dress without slipping in a puddle of tears.

schenectady 01-26-2014 01:08 PM

I have a beautiful designer sheath dress in a gorgeous shade of deep purple in a size 14 that I want to wear.

In July, we are going to Atlanta for a family wedding and have not seen any of my sibs since I was at my highest. So I am looking forward to getting a lovely summer collection of pink or scarlet and/or white feminine, close to knee length skirts to look just right.

By then, I hope to be 100 pounds less than the last time they saw me.

October 2014 need to have a stunning mother-of-the-groom dress for the weeding of my darling oldest son in a military wedding. Mother of the bride is two inches taller than me and very trim so I want to make the pictures of both of us look good.

Lots of great inspiration!

ReenHag 01-26-2014 01:12 PM

Wow, such exciting events coming up for many of us! Enjoy!

Vivig 01-26-2014 01:54 PM

What an AWESOME question..I am targeting two goals 1) Cousin's Wedding in May and 2) My 50th in August.

We are vacationing in March so I will be 100% off and scared of what the implications may be...But I am determined.

nolasmurf 01-26-2014 01:57 PM

For my bday in march I'm hoping to be below a size 10, A 10 is a bit tight but not uncomfortable now, so I'm hoping with the next 13 lbs gone I'll be a size 8. I'm also reconsidering reset my goal to be 120.

ColoradoCarol 01-26-2014 02:17 PM

I would really like to be done with all four stages by my birthday at the end of June, sooner if possible. I don't have a vacation planned yet (thinking May) and would like to be done by then.

WahineByTheSea 01-26-2014 03:20 PM

I have the cutest bride maid's dress for a wedding this summer, and I really hope to be able to squeeze into it. (I don't have enough posts to post a picture, but it really is adorable).

Bellamack 01-26-2014 04:27 PM

I would like to buy a cute dress for my nieces wedding the end of June :)

FacingIt27 01-26-2014 05:51 PM

I have quite a few things keeping me on track:
1) A work trip to Mexico on Feb 10 -(want to be close to what I weighed last year so they don't notice how much weight i gained)
2) A friend's wedding in Mexico Feb 20-25 (want to be looking and feeling pretty darn good, hopefully in the 150's)
3) My 30th birthday on April 10- GOAL by then of 140 or less

FacingIt27 01-26-2014 05:52 PM

Oh and fitting into my clothes again!

Deana509 01-26-2014 06:08 PM

calypso58 01-26-2014 06:31 PM

I am going to my nephew's wedding in March. It's where I went to high school and I havent been back in over 25 years. I'm also going to see my old hs friends and I haven't seen my family since I started, so I am hoping to rock some new cute outfits at all events.

Too funny Carol - my birthday is also the end of June and I am aiming to be in maintenance by then or sooner. (Thinking of lowering my goal, I don't expect it to take me that long to lose 8 pounds!)

SarahJ86 01-26-2014 10:31 PM

Wow looks like everyone has something exciting on their minds! I have my ten year highschool reunion in July so that is my ultimate goal weight time. But hopefully before summer so I can not be embarrassed in a bikini to get a tan. Also I am in the process of buying a timeshare on a lake and we will have a week there in August. I want to go buy a bunch of new cute summer clothes. And I won't have to feel all uncomfortable and hot the whole week! So exciting to read everyone's posts.

FacingIt27 01-26-2014 11:49 PM

Hey SarahJ! We have similar stats, would love to chat with you a bit more. How far into the program are you?

zephyr1973 01-27-2014 12:03 AM

By Fall 2014, I plan to buy an entire new wardrobe for chasing hounds. I finally was able to get back into my custom riding boots, and I refuse to buy "big girl" riding clothing! I want my first hunt to be both fun and picturesque! I also want to be fit enough to not get winded!

This major goal requires me to be at goal by Spring of this year, so that I can begin riding again, and get "legged up" which essentially means, getting back into riding shape, in both my muscle strength as well as aerobic stamina.

watchoutforthatcar 01-27-2014 01:04 AM

I'm seeing my husband (Justin Timberlake) for the 3rd time in July. I first saw him in Dec and I weighed 293 (or something like that) so I'm hoping to be closer to onederland so I can wear something even cuter this time!

This is mine too. My b-day is in June and I'm going to finally wear shorts.

sasyblond401 01-27-2014 07:27 AM

Size 12

I just lost inches off my waist so bought a new skirt I wanted. It is a size 12
very happy about it.
I have lost 7 pds- but mostly have lost inches around my waist........
I take

Garcina Cambogia 5 days a week. DR Oz is where I got the suppliment.

I have also a new bathing suit i WANT TO GET INTO.:smug:

Sheriously 01-27-2014 08:39 AM

I am just starting week 3...my weigh in days are a little off, but last Wednesday when I was 10 days in I had lost 8 pounds!

Anyhow, my first REAL inspiration event is in 5 weeks (end of February) when my husband and I and our three kids are going to Niagara Falls (Canada) and staying at a resort with a waterpark. Bathing suit of course! And so my plan is to not get all primped and "hot" and just wear relatively baggy/modest clothes until then and then...TADAAAAAA!!!! I'll wear my sexy clothes for my husband and of course will be in a bathing suit.

I wonder what is realistic or normal to have lost by then...I'll be a few days into my eighth week. EXCITED!!!

nanbarbree 01-27-2014 08:47 AM

On Feb 1 I have my Grandaughter being presented in a Mardi Gras Ball. This event is part of my goal. I started this journey with several goals in mind. 2 GRANDS graduating from high school, 1 getting married and 1 being presented. I met each occasion with satisfaction. Saturday I will be so close to my goal of -50 lbs that I will be able to smell it! Yes I am proud of them and also proud of myself! Photo later...

trinny 01-27-2014 08:59 AM

Family wedding in mid-June. I can't wait to shop for a dress that I love instead of looking for something that's just "good enough" and doesn't look horrible.

I'm also looking forward to Easter this year. I won't have seen most of my family since Christmas, and I think I will have lost enough for it to be a noticeable improvement. At least I hope so!

Hi! I am just starting week 4 tomorrow. I have my fourth weigh in tonight but am doing the lose 25lbs by first day of spring challenge so I weigh in those days Sundays. I started 12/31 New Year's Eve. How far are you in?? How's it going for you this far?

finale 01-27-2014 03:27 PM

I was wanting to get into a friends old pair of Miss Me JEANS and they were a 34 waist and I got them on yesterday. I have to say I love the pockets and they are cute, but I don't like the muffin top affect...
I am going to aim for a different pair of jeans now that will fit me better and not give me such a bad muffin top...

dak1lls 01-27-2014 03:32 PM

Initially my goal was to lose 50 lbs before I turn 50. I will be 50 in June and my goal is to continue to maintain my losses and celebrate my 50th birthday as a hot granny! lol. ;)
