Good luck to all who are in the path of this Snow/ice storm!
I just don't think it tastes as good as the IP, but then again everyone's taste differs.

I did have it again last night and it was okay. I heat it, add a bit of splenda and coffee (regular or decaf depending on the time of day) I have 6 more of the EAS RTD Carb and I will drink them - but I will still buy IP. I will use them both.

Made some Zuchinni Bread last night

1 packet proti thin apple cinnamon oatmeal
1 egg white
.5 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie sf davinchi suryp
1 cup packed super fine shredded pealed zuchinni ( 2 cups rough chopped)

Mix together... oven 350 for 20 min. Very moist, almost too moist. Plan on cutting in half and toasting on griddle tomorrow with some WF suryp.

Pretty dang tasty.

This appeals to me in a sort of remember=cooking-with-Mom comfort food sort of way! I will have to try it because it may fulfill one of those deep seated emotional needs.

Try cooking the zucchini a little beforehand & the draining it first

Curious what did you do for excercise? I am in week 11 and I have 26 lbs to go before I am at my 90% weight-loss which is when I will start P2.
Unfortunately, due to some recent medical issues I have been unable to begin an excercise program. I do some light walking for now. I'm hoping everything resolves in the next month, waiting on tests and a diagnosis for now. Hate waiting!

I know many people love the EAS carb control shakes but I am definitely not a fan.

I think the flavor's off (I've tried both chocolates, café, strawberry and vanilla) and find them very thin.

I think it was even worse for me because I know how delicious the IP RTD's are to me.

Only plus is they are 11 oz compared to IP's 8 oz for almost the identical nutritional profile.

IPN - Good to "see you". I thought it might help with some of the costs (this diet is taking all of my "discretionary" income per month). However, I like IP better. I will use the EAP ones up, not sure if I will buy more, it depends. But I really like the IP ones. I quit using the drink mix because I was drinking them every day and my coach said I shouldn't because they are higher in carbs. He suggested only to have one every couple of days. But the RTD is just as good and much lower in carbs and I can have that every day . . . and I do.

I've tried a bunch of kinds of alternative shakes. My two favorite RTDs are Muscle Milk 100 and Pure Protein frosty chocolate. The EAS drinks don't bother me but I think they are just OK. At a quarter of the cost of the IP drinks, though, I will be sticking with them.

Now that you mention it I really liked the Muscle Milk Lite chocolate RTD. I also loved the Premier Protein 18g vanilla but it is impossible to find. Most places sell the the higher protein ones that are 30g or something.

The Protithin anytime drink (Nashua) is the same as IP, according to IPN

Thanks Lisa, I hadn't seen that IPN had said that. They are a bit cheaper than IP at $17.95 (not counting shipping). Shipping is free over $99 so I would need to order a few things. Maybe next payday . . ..

I always used the Muscle Milk light, but can't find them anymore . Been using EAS and the chocolate ( SAMS club) mixed with some sf syrup & coffee is pretty good
