Maybe it's time to give old comfort foods a fresh makeover so they'll be sustainable into maintenance
This week I've made chili, chicken soup, and a roast.
All low carb

It's time to give ourselves new, positive messages

Good Morning
Day 9 for me and the scale shows 144 this morning, down another lb from two days ago. Still up 4 lbs from my low of 140 in October, but I'll take it. I haven't weighed at my coach's office since I started my reboot so I don't know what I lost this week, but my gues is atleast 5-6 lbs. After christmas I didn't want to see the results so never weighed.

Guess I should change my ticker lol, but I don't want to.

Another 14lbs til goal, until my first fitting in May. Wondering if I could get to 125 before my first fitting. I might strive for that now. Feeling good today, although climbed up the stairs from the basement and felt light headed. And here I thought I would hit the gym today.

Restarting today, it was suppose to be yesterday but went out last night and had to many vodka's and club sodas. I was only going to have 2 and stick to the program, but here in Utah they are only allowed to put exactly 1 oz of liquor in the drinks. Well, it's a new day and I'm back and going to the gym today.

Sunflower I see we have the same stats, I too would like to get to 125. I have no time limit, but you should be able to reach yours by May.

The sun is edging its way over the mountains. I wish it would get to my house soon. I need it. I think I will put all the lights on in the house to give me a pick up

I'm in too!

My first weigh in was on Monday (January 6th). My original goal was 150, so I'm up a bit (8 lbs) from the Christmas holidays. I've decided I'd like to change my target weight to 145 pounds, so here I go!

Good job on day 9 Sunflower! Keep it up! I think you can definitely make 125 by May!

I'm on day 4 today. Took me a while to get back at it. After 4 days I feel so much better already. I've been doing mostly phase 2 to save some money on the product, and been using an alternative shake for the morning. I leave for an all inclusive this weekend. I've decided to bring some restricteds with me and some shakes too. I may or may not use them, but would rather have them available just in case! I finally have my motivation back, so as crazy as it sounds, almost a little disappointed to be going away already. Worried that I'll indulge too much on vacation and will have trouble getting back at it afterwards.

My first WI this morning, down 4.0 lbs

More snow this morning, only a couple of inches, then the weather says for the weekend, flooding because temps could go to 50 from freezing...weird weather, from - 28 to 50 in the same week ha ha ha, welcome to upstate NY!

thanks knm. Personally I think you should go and enjoy your vacation. When you return you have plenty of time to get back on track and lose the few extras before your wedding. You have loads of time. I'm jealous. I want to go some place warm. This cabin fever is getting to me. Where are you going again? this is for your friend's wedding right?
Have a great time and talk to you when you get back.

I really hope so, I've never seen the 140's, well actually the lowest was 137. So 125 is aiming quite high for me. But I need to give the plan 100% and see if I could get there. Afterall this is my wedding and I want to look my best. Being short sucks lol

What is the lowest you have reached in your weight loss journey?

great job Bellamack - this weird weather we're having really sucks
tomorrow we're expecting freezing rain, just when it's starting to "warm" up a bit.

Day 10 of my restart over here and it's going great! It seems like I'm losing faster than I did when I did IP 2 years ago. Same starting weight, but I'm already down 10 lbs since the 1st. I've been avoiding bars and anything restricted, so that may be it. I'm also using alternatives this time around. Good vibes to you all!

I am also avoiding restricted during this reboot. Round one in 2010 I never had restricted and that worked for me. I have tried rebooting in the past and the weight came off very slow but I was having a restricted every day. This time I am not having any restricted and it seems to be working better for me. I think it depends on the individual person. A lot of people on the IP plan have a restricted every day and it does not slow their progress. It is up to the individual. Day 9 of my reboot.

hmmm with only 15-20 lbs to lose, I wonder if I too shouldn't cut back on the restricted items. Maybe once I get back down to 140, hopefully by the end of the month, I'll try that approach and cut them out.

What do you have in place of them? Just a shake?

Hey folks,
Just checking in. I've been sick the past several days and was forced off plan. Just didn't feel like eating anything but chicken soup and toast. But I am down 5 lbs since restarting. I'm planning on beginning again on Monday.
Good to see so many here staying on plan.
