Yep it takes everything to concentrate on 100%! Hubby is always bringing snacks home, so I have to deal with it at home too. Just keep telling myself there really is not anything special. There is so much food it is always there. Not missing out!!

So true! Made it through my baking today though. I had one dicey moment when I almost unthinkingly licked a chocolate covered finger after dipping macaroons, but I caught myself just in time! Being so much more conscious about everything I put in my body is such a huge change from where I was at this time last year - a change for the better, to be sure!

Just got from my weigh in. I lost 1 lb (have to remember not to put "only" before that). But I did lose 3.25 inches. That seems to be typical for me - if I have a lower loss on the scale. I lose inches. I have lost 60 lbs since July 12. That is a huge accomplishment I know - just doesn't look like I will attain my goal of "onderland" by 12/31. I would have to lose 5.9 in one week - which I don't do.

Oh well a loss is a loss and I am headed in the right direction. The old me would have "drowned" my sorrows/disappointment in food, but that is the old me.

Weigh in #5 today. Lost .6. I knew it was going to be low. I had several dinners last week and ate extra protein. I was down another 1.8 pounds of fat so that's a plus. I hope everyone has a great rest of the week!
