I have been a bit of a stalker of this group. I am on the alternative plan and my DH is going to a local clinic. He needs the supervision more than I do.
I am turning 40 in Feb and have a trip to vegas planned with family and friends. I have been able to lose 42 lbs to this point (13 weeks) and DH 60lbs. I am hopeful to be under 200 by our trip on Feb 9th.
I started ordering from Nashua for additional options. So far so good on my Alt IP journey...

Welcome, this is a great forum, lot's of support, help and company on your journey!
I have a question to get my ticker you have to comment on the site so many times or days? If I skip a day does it start over?
No it doesn't start over if you skip a day. You have enough posts, so just depending on the day you joined you should have the option in your user cp to make a signature.

Hi everybody! Sorry I've been MIA lately - the holidays are just so busy and work has been crazy!!
Anyway - news: I booked a trip to Mexico for January 26th, woohoo I spoke to my coach today and opted to go for a slow phase off rather than a quick one so I'll be starting P2 tomorrow for 2 weeks, then P3 for 2 weeks then on to P4 until my holiday. I will admit that I'm a little scared, having lost 63lbs and having P1 as a "safety blanket" but I think I'll be okay. I know that if I tried to phase off more quickly, I'd be beating myself up all the time over what I could eat and what I couldn't. I also think since I'm close to 6 months on IP, it's a good time for a small break. I will continue to go for weekly WI's and I've already made an appointment with her for my second day back from holiday.
I also realized in looking at the numbers that I've lost over 1/4 of myself...I used to weight 238lbs and I've lost 63 of them. Wow.
I've read a lot of great NSV's and losses over the past little while - keep it up everyone
Hello Hello everyone! Hope everyone is having an awesome day today. Life is plugging along here and still really busy. I am hopeful that this case will settle tomorrow and that I will be able to move into the holidays with a clean mind and some peace as I (hopefully) go on vacation to snowboard with my boyfriend and his son. Here's hoping!

You will do great with the transition, a little bit of fear isn't a bad thing. It will help you out. Transitioning off was, for me, a huge leap of faith and so make it and you'll do awesome. And congrats on the 63 pounds! That's awesome!!
Sarita, I am hoping that your case settles and that you get to enjoy a relaxing, fun and stress free snowboarding trip. You have been looking forward to the trip for a long while. Time for you to enjoy a reward for all of your hard work (both IP and legal). Thanks for always staying so positive on here.

Thanks, Sarita! I know you've been through this so it means a lot to me for you to say that

Hi! We're going to the Riveria Maya side - staying at the Grand Bahia Principe, outside of Tulum. Yup, it's that time where everyone in Manitoba finds somewhere warm to be I don't know about you but I can't wait!

Great idea! Slow phase off, vacation, & then return to IP?
Start reading the p3 breakfast thread now. It takes some time to figure it out & you'll be prepared when the time comes.
P3 sheets in the stickies and also a meal planner is there.
Have no fear! IP is here and you get easily walked through everything.
I understand the need to escape the deep freeze. I'm bugging out of STL on Sunday to visit friends in FL.
Then on to cheer my team in the Rose Bowl on Jan 1
This will be a coast-to-coast trip!
