Cereal flakes
My coach said the new cereal flakes are non restricted. From everything I have read they are supposed to be restricted. From looking at the nutritional information they are close and could almost go either way... The crispy cereal is 7 carbs and the flakes are 11... Do 4 carbs make that much difference?
I know non restricted is 8 and under but just looking for some feedback... Thanks! |
When my coach was telling me about the new products, she indicated that the new cereal flakes are restricted.

so weird that they have the same grams of carbs but are not classified the same way. |
The garlic and herb chips have fiber so the net carbs are less.
The new cereal flakes are restricted. |

Remember that IP isn't just about carbs. It is also fats AND an alkaline program. Foods that contribute less to alkaline and more to acid may also be restricted.
It is more important to determine the rules and follow them. When I spend my time asking "why" and comparing, I find myself doing too much questioning, rather than surrendering & "just doing it". I had to learn to follow rules -even the stupid ones! I viewed P1 as temporary & just followed the rules as IP laid out (except I also had to cut soy protein & gluten. Many of the newest products don't work for me at all). |
