Talking I had the most AMAZING lunch

Ok today I made the cauliflower "pizza" crust. I added 1 egg white (I had only 1 cup of cauliflower to use), fresh grated garlic, Italian seasoning, basil, salt and 1/4 tsp of baking powder to add fluff.

Baked it in the oven until it was golden brown, added 2 tbps of WF cocktail sauce doctored up with spices to emulate pizza sauce, then added 1/4 of green peppers, mushrooms, zucchini and tomatoes. baked at 450 for 15 mins just to warn the veggies drizzle with Olive Oil and a few more spiced. Add a RTD dark chocolate shake and YUMMYY!!!!

SO I want to send her a small box with some things in t just for her. I am thinking some lotion, lip balm, chocolates (she is 91 and weighs like 90lbs) so I want to make it a sweet caring box for her. I have a card, pics of the kids but what else can I send for her?

I am taking any suggestions, I want to mail it tomorrow
For my grandmother I would always bring her a nice fuzzy warm blanket, she also weighed about 80lbs at the age of 100 . They also seem to love the shortbread cookies.

Thanks sarahBell! I had my appointment at lunch time and took some measurements and walked through the program with a coach. Looks like we start tomorrow. I am a little overwhelmed by all of the packets (she gave me 28 different samples for the week), but overall excited about the program. I've lost some weight on my own through calorie counting and exercise, but I need some help getting that scale to budge and hopefully this program will be the one to work for me.

Has anyone heard of Dream Field Pasta? I know we are not allowed pasta, however this has 5g of "digestible" carbs/serving. Is it OK then??

Having a pretty kick *** day today! Started off by returning a top I bought from Banana Republic a few weeks ago for a smaller size - and it was on sale so I got $10 back! Found a beautiful festive wreath for my door from Costco and managed to walk out of there without being tempted by the food samples and hot dogs on the way out. Then I headed to my friend's sister's place to buy some of her expired IP stuff. She gave me a ton of stuff for only $15. Woohoo!

I swear I'm in the twilight zone today. Two count that TWO co-workers have stopped me today to tell me how great I look. My casino has over 2400 employees, so I really don't expect anyone other than my immediate coworkers to notice my weight loss. One did tell me that I'll never keep the weight off. My reply was "oh you're so kind to notice, but this is a lifestyle change, not just a flash in the pan!)

I'm heading over to the clothing exchange thread but I know its been a little dormant lately. If anyone has any short size 14 black slacks they aren't using I'd love to have them. My 16s are getting pretty baggy.

Happy Monday!
Jamie

Happy Monday. Or at least, Tolerable Monday! lol 5th weigh in was this am, and I'm down another 3.6#. Met my goal of 15 pounds by my cruise. I leave Wednesday for New Orleans, and I'm a little nervous about being able to stay on plan 100% the whole time. I've been planning out all of my meals and packing up small travel size bottles of all my favorite no-refrigeration-required sauces/dressings/flavorings. My biggest worry is getting in the veggies.....I'm hoping there is spinach every day on the ship's salad bar so I can sneak it into my morning chocolate drink. I'm actually taking my immersion blender with me....does that make me IP-obsessed/insane? lol

Sounds delish. I've got to try making this "pizza" with cauliflower. Does it TASTE like cauliflower? I hate the stuff, so I'm looking for any way to hide that flavor!!

Good grief. Some people should have been born mute. Good reply on your part, though! I'm short, too, so I'll check my stash of pants and see what I have.

I can't understand these comments from strangers/coworkers about not keeping the weight off. That is about the most ignorant thing someone could say to a person who is losing weight! I would be totally floored if someone said that to me!

From my understanding the 5 g of digestible carbs is truly a false claim that has been debunked by a prestigious medical journal. One time someone on 3fc posted the link and I read the article, but I don't know how to go about looking for the link for you! (It's here somewhere if you care to search or you may try googling it, too.) I can't even remember which journal it was. Sorry about that.

I looked at a package recently in the store out of curiosity and all you can do is subtract the fiber from the carbs and you are still left with too many carbs! Hopefully someone here can chime in and give you a more concrete answer.

Also, Deanna, you look fabulous and darling in your picture!
