I add some soda water to my drinks. I make the packet according to directions then add soda water!

You didn't mention WHICH drink packets you don't like. Some are better in the blender with ice as slushed

So can I have 2 eggs instead of the drink packets for today until I get more packets tom?
2 whole eggs would be equivalent to a restricted.
1 whole + 3 egg whites is equivalent to an omelet packet

My coach did not tell me I could have that. I guess what I am asking is how do I count the 1 egg white or the baking powder or coconut oil? The last 2 are not on my list of this to have.
Coconut oil is not on the P1 protocol sheet. One of your other oils can be used.
Until the newest protocol sheet came out, IP always said any additions needed to be 0 carb/0 sugar/0 fat.
1-2 egg whites meets those specifications so many people (probably most of us!) use them as additions.
Baking powder is 0 cals too. Nothing to count.

I liked the yogurt wildberry shake, but I didn't find it very filling for some reason.

Thanks for the chocolate cake recipe, Meshellee! I love the chocolate drinks both the pre-made ones and the power mix.

You're welcome. Just remember you have to use the mix for that recipe, someone said the premades don't work in it.

I don't like the drink mixes if you just mix them in the shaker, I blend them all with ice in a bullet. The vanilla one is also good with a little of the walden farms pancake syrup added, makes it a maple shake.

1) Last week when I started the office gives u a sampler pack to try stuff. I am down to drink mixes-and I HATE them. I dont like any of them. I am at the point that for breakfast this am I want to eat 2 eggs instead of a drink packet. Do u think that would be ok? Is there any other recommendations? I will get new food that I like tom. on Monday. Any advise would be great. I just dont like drinking my meals. I rather eat them.

2) Also is there a website or post about maybe doing an exchange of packets you dont like or use with others? So far have not found that.

3)Can you eat NY strip steak for your 8 ozs? I thought that was sirloin but I think I am wrong.

4)To be clear you can have your restricted item for your snack after dinner right?

Thanks in advance!!! It is appreciated

What drinks did you try? I really like the blueberry pomegranate drink..

#1 - turn them into muffins or pancakes or trade them in for something you like. The vanilla drink, chocolate drink and wildberry yogurt all bake up into muffin/pancake replacements.

#2 - you should be able to do this in your clinic. otherwise, i think some people on IP near you might be able to help with this.

#3 - NY Strip is a little too fatty for your meat - filet mignon is the perfect amount of fat for red meat on IP. Of course we can't all afford that. I'd limit how often you have steak and stick to more fish, chicken and lower fat red meat if possible. Its nice to have a steak for a treat once in a while anyway.

#4 - well, every coach is different. You have to have a snack after dinner and before bed - definitely. However, at my clinic anyway, you need to have your restricted before dinner. In fact, may clinics don't allow you to have restricteds at all in your first two weeks.

Hang in there!

I make a coffee drink with my chocolate drink packet. I blend up ice, a cup of coffee, some water, and the chocolate packet and it's delicious!

Thanks to everyone with their help. I tried the blueberry, pineapple and banana, and pina colada - HATED THEM all. I also have the wildberry and peach and mango that I know I will not use. My clinic does not have a return packet policy. I will post them for a trade in.

Also, wanted to say I did my first weigh in today and I love 10lbs!!!! I was in shock about this. Cant believe considering it was my TOM as well. I also lost an inch on my hips and waist.

Your support and tips are much appreciated!!! Thanks!!!
