Default Do you pee a lot?

I find that since I started the IP program I've been peeing a lot! I pee at least every 30 minutes if not more. I drink about 2-3 liters a day which is about what I should be drinking I believe.

I guess it is a good sign to pee this much, but wondering if anyone else goes to the bathroom as much as I do and is this normal?

Totally!
I am developing a personal relationship with the public bathrooms (shiver) everywhere I go

I have been going slightly more frequently, but I have always had to pee frequently, even before IP. However, I have noticed that the volume has significantly increased! I am drinking more water than before, and I am sure the water in the veggies also adds to it.

ALL. THE. TIME. Even multiple times a night. The going 50 times a day I can handle. The several times a night SUCKS. Lol

Have you noticed that you're thirsty all the time, too? It's like now that my body is used to getting all this water, it wants it even more!

Actually yes, I have noticed especially this past week how dry my mouth is. I thought it was just dry in my apartment, but I have read in some of the other low carb threads that this could be part of being in ketosis.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that pees a lot!!! I believe that we are getting rid of toxins and water that we are drinking and taking in from the veggies. Good point, ReenHag.

OMG I cannot STAND getting up at night! I have missed so much sleep because once I am up to pee, the brain starts going. Ugh!

All the flipping time!! I keep telling people it's like when my son was potty training and everywhere we went, I had to know where the bathrooms were

If I wake up at night, I have to go then too...normally before IP, I could convince myself to go back to sleep but not anymore!

ALL THE TIME. My DH told me the other day we were going thru too much toilet paper and I should save my pee for when I'm at work!

That's exactly what happens to me! The last time I wake up to pee is around 4-4:30, and there have been several nights that I was still awake when my alarm went off at 5:45. I think I would have more energy from all this healthy eating if I could just get more sleep at night!!!

haha.. I know what you mean about not being able to go back to sleep like before. Same with me having to go late at night and when I'm sleeping in the morning. It's so annoying have to get up from a deep sleep to go pee! It'll be worse in the winter!!

I hate the 2am bladder pain!
The worst part is my kitten thinks Oh good, mom is up, time to play and purr and get loved....and I can't go back to sleep for 20 minutes cause he is rubbing on my face
