Good luck!

Picking a goal weight is challenging. My son just told me he weighs 77 pounds. And I planned to lose 90. Looking at the size of him it's hard to believe I can lose that much!

Morning ChipnDip, and other Canadian gals...
This morning's weigh in 132.5 - I have been adding a few extra calories here & there so not totally unexpected, but still well within my maintenance range and close to 132 goal. I will have to update the ticker... or I may become complacent, hahaha.

Sunny & hot here today - supposed to get to 26C - I'm thinkin' beach time... but really I'm supposed to be pulling rhubarb and stewing it up. The 3 plants have taken over the back garden!! We'll see what wins out, or

I can only dream of 132! You are doing amazing. I have read your what are you eating and I fear I will have a hard time maintaining. I am so picky. I am worried what I will eat.

Good work, ChipnDip! Even if we are the only two at the moment, we are supporting each other, and the rest may catch up soon too...
Wouldn't 20 lbs be a wonderful surprise! Have a great &healthy long weekend!!

I know what you mean... when I take a Curves Yogourt & Berry Bliss protein bar in my purse for a mid afternoon snack on a weekend, my hubby wants me to take one for him. I hide them so he won't take them to work...
I do send a protein snack for him too, just not the same as mine, lol.

Where do you get the Curves bar? We have a curves in town if I needed to go there to get them. It's hard to find IP friendly bars. I love the shakes from Costco but they have double the protein so I never know if having more than 1 a day is a bad idea.
I bought a bunch of Simply Bars -- which taste basically like straw with cinnamon on them. It's funny how THOSE ones aren't disappearing quite as quickly as my other treats! LOL
I also buy the "extend" bars from Pharma Plus. They SAY 1g net carb per serving. I'm hesitant to believe that but they are like a "MORE" chocolate bar so are a nice treat too. I guess they couldn't really advertise that if it wasn't true but I still treat them as a restricted.

You can go into any Curves and buy the meal bars - NOT the snack bars - they don't have enough protein. The chocolate one is just like chewy fudge They are $9 with tax give or take a few cents. There are 5 in a box.
They are fairly high in calories and probably more restricted than you might want - but I used them even on P1 as restricted and they worked. Then again I switched out some of the higher cal/fat/carb unrestricted packets for vegan smoothie protein powders that were very low in cal/0g fat/lo in carb.
It all evened out. I have to watch out for gluten in a lot of the bars out there, so that limits my choices anyhow.

Sheriously -- glad to see you're phasing off properly. I didn't and -- voila -- here I am a year later back where I started. I sent you a message awhile back. I always forget to look at the message part so just so you know it's there

Congrats on moving on to the end phases of the journey!

Canadian here, down to 149 slowly but surely. The beautiful weather we are having is helping the spirit, I do not care much for sun but after all the spring rain and cloud glad it is back.

It is also for me a busy time of the year where I get the chance to do what I love in front of a crowd it beats staring at the wall behind my easel.

Hi Liana,

Been a busy day today. Just checking in now. The latest IP video was talking about maintenance and monitoring weight. How daily weigh ins are important and knowing your upper limit so you can redirect quickly. I just think how I used to avoid the scale! Good that you are keeping track and know what to modify.

Weigh in one day late this week. The challenge was to be down 20 pounds for this week and I believe I got there. Just hope the clinic scale agrees.
