Go on kijiji for proti diet in Ontario. I order from Nourish studios but just learned there is a clinic opened near me now. Nourish ships free if I order 11 boxes at $15.

Thanks for all the tips everyone :)

Target has the six packs or pure protein bars on for $5.43 this week. Works out a bit cheaper than Costco for any other Canucks using alternatives. :)

Hi everyone!
Today was my first day on IP with alternatives. I followed the protocol a 3 years ago for a few months and lost 30 lbs after losing 50 lbs already with tracking my calories. I have maintained since but in the mean time, fell in love with lifting heavy almost 18 months ago and have gained some muscle mass. Along with the muscle came some fat too. ;) I'm hoping to lean out some... shooting for 20 lbs but may go for more. I am not giving up my exercise though as it keeps me sane. I live in BC and my kids were supposed to start school tomorrow but with the teacher strike in full force, who knows when it will be. Oy. Hope you all are doing well! :) |
I would love to know what other Canadians are using for alternatives. Everything I look at seems too high in calories or carbs or even protein

Pure protein RTD (20 grams protein) EAS shakes RTD Protidiet that I order through the mail - soup, oatmeal, cocoa, shakes, drinks Muscle milk light RTD Quest bars (there is a whole thread on them!) - I treat it as restricted, I've only had cinnamon roll and it is borderline If you start at the beginning of this thread you will get canadian suggestions |

Thank you for the replies! I am using the leanfit powder. I keep seeing muscle milk but not the light variety. BTW, pretty certain I saw protidiet products st Walmart today.

I just placed an order through low car grocery - a variety of Walden Farms products and the pancake mix I have seen a few people mention and the quest bars.. I am going to try and keep breakfast, snack and lunch fairly consistent and simple and get some variety from dinner.. this is my plan anyway :)

Weighing in today with plans of being better on plan going forward. |
No worries. I actually got excited when I saw them at first! I was a little overwhelmed figuring out alts and since I had started ipon IP, I was a little hooked on some of the products. The only two items I prefer thru protidiet are the vanilla drink and the chicken noodle. The "juice" ones are convenient for on the go as they squeeze into a water bottle. Although IP is expensive, I don't need to think or analyze anything. I used to spend close to $12 a day buying breakfast and lunch during the week anyway.
