Default Can I eat Sushi/Sashimi?

I'm pretty new to IP, and I do NOT want to or plan to cheat!

That said, I am crazy about sushi. I know I cannot eat rice on phase 1, but I don't know if seaweed is allowed.

Also, does anyone know how much sashimi I would have to consume in order to get the 8 oz in?

I know I can order steamed veggies, but any other suggestions for foods to eat while at a sushi bar?

I don't eat sushi so I have no clue about most of your questions but I do know that seaweed is an algae and algae is on the select vegetable list. So I think you are good to go on that one, just remember to count it as part of your veggies.

I'm sure more experienced sushi eaters will have better answers for the rest of it.

Sashimi is fine as long as the fish you have are on the Ideal protocol sheet. Since it is raw you will have to eyeball the 8oz or ask the server how much it is. They probably weigh it. Enjoy!! Now I want to go out for sashimi!!
