Hi all,

Just finished my first month on IP today with weigh-in #4! So far I 'm happy with the results and the way I've been feeling since starting the protocol. This is also the longest I've ever really stuck to something without any slips or feeling like I want to give up. I was really committed to starting and finally taking control, but I also attribute my success this first month to all the support on these boards - thanks! I plan to keep at it until I reach my goal!

Good morning Fellow IP OPers . I just started using My Fitness Pal consistently, I can do it from my phone at the time I eat rather than pull out my journal...of course it tells me that I'm not eating enough calories and my protein amounts go over the suggested amounts and the carbs are below what is recommended, lol, all of which I already know. I like that I can see where I am regarding sodium, sugars etc. If any of you have suggestions on how I can better utilize this for IP I would love to hear from you. Have a great rest of the week OP

I use it the same way. It's very helpful for decideing on items as well. Just used it at the grocery to check the Starbucks caramel K-cup info before I purchased. Good to note they are only 10cals and 0 carbs!

My hubby and I are starting tomorrow and I have finally had a chance to go through some of these threads and posts and I am learning so much!!!

I was given the most recent copy of the IP veggie guide today and see that it is 4c of veggies per day not two!!! I am grateful I found this forum I really really am

THe recipe ideas on here are awesome and can help me keep eating fun not wash-rinse -repeat KWIM?

I am an experimental cook and maybe I can create something fabulous to share with you guys that is IP friendly

I just need to control my sweet tooth, it will get the best of me! I have the WF dressings but want to get a few other things (chocolate, caramel, pbutter) just to have around to help kick the cravings that will come during our first few days to a week!!!

Everyone here looks sooo good with your pics that are posted....I hope to add mine too, maybe LOL.

Is anyone here doing this without a coach? We are starting without a coach because dhs work schedule has him getting off work when our only center is closed and currently they do not offer Saturday hours until Oct I think. But I have enough IP packets/snacks to get us rolling for 3 months

I know I will have so many questions as things get rolling.

Edited to add: Dinner lastnight Grilled Salmon marinated in Dijon mustard with dill and basil, sea salt dred garlic grinder, lemon and a smidge of (like 1 1/2 tbs) honey just to take the bite off the mustard. Grilled asparagus, mushrooms and salad and water

Good Afternoon everyone! Congrats to everyone who had awesome weigh ins!!! I am pleased to announce that tomorrow is 6 weeks since I started IP! Here are my totals so far:

23.4 lbs
27 inches (biggest has been 6 inches off my waist alone!)

I am sooooo proud of myself. I too cannot believe I have actually made it this far. I am now addicted to this diet!

I am doing phase 3 breakfasts right now to prepare for my trip (leaving on sunday to California, wahooo!) and honestly, I find it alot of food to eat and would rather just have my chocolate drink! lol

Anyway, hope everyone has a great finish to the day!

Just looked at a photo I took back in Feb of me standing on a scale (it was for a DietBet). I weigh less now than I did back then (195.0lbs)! Whoohoo.... I think I was consistently gaining from that point on instead of losing. Now I'm def going in the right direction... this year isn't a total bust

GRRR I 've been trying to change my profile pic for days and it shows the new photo in my CP but the old one shows up when I post. Anyone have any suggestions?

SPIRITMAN: I am in Maintenance too and feel the same way about food. I used to love bread, but now that I can have it, i really don't care much for it.
