No wonder I've been so frustrated with slow losses! I'm still working toward 150 but I'm not gonna let it make me crazy. I shared with the 100%ers my plan to cycle phases again & I'm on P2 right now, moving to P3 tomorrow.

The suggested true weight from the Dukan site is a maintainable weight. That is what the diet is looking at. (That, and the fact that the BMI charts are flawed).
Yay for Lisa!!!

Nope. My body isn't perfect but I've spent MANY YEARS damaging it. The healing has just begun, in my opinion. If I could get thru the back pain to the other side of healing that, perhaps I can start working on a harder body at the gym.
You are a sensible person!

As a side note I did use that dukan calculator also and that had me at 152. Interesting the Dukan calculator
My goal weight is based on what my doctor recommended, but I am actually more interested in getting my body fat % into a healthy range. I'm not sure what weight that will be, but once I start getting close to goal, that's what I'll be monitoring quite closely along with the scale. That's why I love IP - it's intended to get rid of all that excess body fat!

Could it be that measure is kg? That's how it came back for me ... in kg and I had to convert to pounds.

Incidentally my "Dukan weight" and the goal the IP clinic set for me are within a pound of one another. And it hovers around what I was able to do - without dieting (at all) but with moderate exercising - for about 8 years (when i was a wee bit younger). I've been lower but not since college.

More calories less weight loss. I wish it were more calories, more loss!

Very awesome, congrats Lisa! And I agree with the years of damaging it. I am learning acceptance - slowly but surely as I have progressed along this path with IP. I had some unrealistic image that my body would *snap* back into place, having forgotten (or ignored, more appropriately) what I have done to it since I was a teenager. Trying to learn what I am working with though!

Thanks for posting the correlation. I was interested on what you had discovered. That does make sense.

I'm in week 6 (actually 5 & a half)... had my WI today. -21.2 lbs down total!!! All I can say is that I'm glad I took the plunge and tried IP. Even my 8 year old son commented on my body this morning... "Wow Mommy! That diet you're on is working good!" (I was in my workout clothes.) LOL!

I love reading about the experiences everyone has during their IP journey; both positive & negative. Makes me look forward to being a part of the P2, P3 and beyond.

Hi. I had read a couple of posts about miracle noodles and thought I found them at the grocery. These though have 0 fat 0 gluten 0 sugar but 4 g carbs and 3 g fiber. Looks like there's potato starch on the label

Are these a no go? I'm ok if so - should have read more carefully at the store. I was just so excited to find.

Hahaha... Glad you got it sorted. I have no idea what people should be at goal-wise, but thought I'd see if you made the same mistake I did.

(I'm in no way saying you're unhealthy...we are each very different )
Since I stopped IP, I have not really lost much. Maybe 2-3 lbs. However, I have intensified exercise. Actually gained quite a bit of muscle. Jillian Michaels is simply a genius. I lost inches off my butt, chest, legs, and even my waist. I can now get into a designer size 10 suit, down from a 12. So, if you work on building muscles, you may not move the scale, but still be able to shrink a lot. I lost almost one cloth size in the past 10 weeks. It is starting to get expensive since I now have to downsize my suit that I just purchased in April.
