Huh, just goes to show how different the clinics are. Mine won't give me the next week's supply of packets if I haven't brought the journal in for review.

If you asked me how I am feeling I'd answer you "I'm feeling so good there should be two of me!" Is this energy I'm feeling from ketosis? If I keep on program, can I expect to feel like this most of the time? I'm 47 yrs old and I haven't felt this amazing in years!
I have had those kind of feelings since starting IP and I credit some of those feelings to a lifting of the carb fog I lived with for so long.

Hi Lighthouse101,

My coach and I are both happily surprised. I know it will slow down, but it has really helped me stick to the plan. I really like veggies, so I think it has been a little easier for me, but I would LOVE to have a corn tortilla with big slices of avocado. Staying strong!

Hi Kayl,

I survived a pre-White Sox tailgate last weekend by swapping some of my IP meals around. Breakfast was an IP drink. I brought a pork tenderloin with a rub and asparagus for the grill to share (chicken breasts would also work). Drinks for the tailgate were club soda + lime. Then I saved my garlic + onion soynuts (IP lunch) for the game and tracked down the only spot at US Cellular where they served an actual vegetable (lettuce) and chicken at the taco cart. Then I just had the last 2 C. veg in the evening with the last IP food (IP drink).

I picked up a buffalo rub this week that I'm planning to add to chicken breasts this fall when football season kicks off.

Hope this helps!

Thank you Lisa. You are awesome. My primary care doc (not my coach) is very familiar with IP and encouraged me to do the program, but suggested I do the athletes protocol due to my activity level...so I was curious as to the difference.
