Default My first day!

Hello fellow chicks!

I am a 48 yo female from Mississippi, and I am starting my program today. I am very, very excited and ready for this. I am 5'4" and weigh 297 pounds, so my goal weight is about 150.

For breakfast this morning I had the prepared chocolate pudding, and for lunch I have steamed some broccoli and cauliflower and chopped it up and put it in the broccoli and cheddar soup. So far, so good.

I have lurked for a couple of weeks and have jotted down a few recipes that I am anxious to try.

I look forward to getting to know everyone and hope we can all get healthy together.

So curious to hear about your first week. I am starting on Tuesday and like you have been lurking and picking up food/WF sauces to get ready. I am looking to lose 40-50 pounds.

Welcome! Tomorrow will be two weeks on the plan for me so I am fairly new as well. My first few days were rough- I felt quite nauseous and fatigued, but already this week I am feeling like a whole new woman! More energy...not even craving carbs and feeling quite satisfied throughout the day. Good luck...push through the first few days, it gets so much easier

Aww I really like your introduction! You have a great attitude! Just remember to push through the hard days because once those pass it feels great! My brain fog finally cleared up from detoxing off carbs and I feel more alert and have a lot more energy! When in doubt guzzle the water!!!

Good luck! Just started day 8 and got weighed in yesterday and lost 11lbs my first week. Hang in for the first four days...it gets must much more easier after that.

Welcome to all of you. I am still pretty new but this program is great and this board is great. There is so much fantastic information and so many experienced and enthusiastic people here ready to help. I found the first few weeks pretty challenging, I wasn't hungry but really listless and unfocused; water helped a great deal.

Welcome! I am halfway thru week 3 and can honestly say i haven't felt this good in forever! This is a great place for recipies and all your questions! Make sure you read all those threads at the top. They answer many of your questions and also some you might not have thought to ask..
