Really? I like romaine much better than iceberg ( I never eat iceberg when I am not on IP due to lack of nutritional content). My coach doesn't want me eating unlimited romaine, but will allow iceberg. Actually, romaine is out for me for all of phase 1. I mainly eat spinach in place of lettuce. Good to know eating romaine hasn't effected your weight loss!

Spinach is listed as a veggie...and is limited on the protocol sheet. I use romaine also...and occasionally vary or mix with green leaf or red leaf lettuce for texture if it looks good. Agree...Blech to iceberg!! Not much to it. I'd ask why they OK spinach as a salad and unlimited instead of eating into your veggie allotment? I'm curious as to the thinking...Another one of those "Coach Rules"??
