Your coworkers automatically move a treat to the other side of the room so as not to tempt you. Then tell you it's terrible and disgusting so you don't feel like you're missing out

When you go to Starbucks and get excited over an Iced Americano with a packet of Splenda, and you don't even wish you could have all the fattening lattes that are being advertised.

When you discover a new recipe, food or product and you feel like a 5 year old asking to go to the zoo...you need to go to the store TODAY!

I am glad that I am not the only one that has dreams/nightmares of going off program. I will dream that I am somewhere pick up a handful of some food that is not allowed and eat it and then realize I went off protocol. Then in the dream I worry that I have pushed myself out of ketosis.

It's amazing what we dream.

You worry about what medications to take when you have a cold or flu.

Had to lol about feeling guilty about taking communion at church. I really did feel that way!

Totally worried what I could take for my cold I had this past week ...so I didn't take anything and I'm all better. Just drank herbal tea

When you go to Starbucks and get a tall Americano in a venti cup and then add your chocolate RTD protein shake and it tastes JUST LIKE a mocha!

Oh, and when you think your baby might need a diaper change and then you realize you're just smelling your own ketosis breath!!! yikes!

When a friend invites you to lunch and suggests some restaurants, and you immediately go to the internet to check out their menu online to make sure there are options for you there. Literally just happened to me.

I quit drinking 4 yrs ago and still to this day have dreams about drinking that are so real that for days I feel guilty for drinking when I shouldn't. From what I've heard they don't stop. I've actually had to have my husband reassure me that no I actually didn't have a beer the night before. Food is no different from any other addictive substance in the way that it penetrates your subconscious and keeps its hold on you long after you give it up.
