Hi everyone! Great news on all the good WIs today- congrats! Hopeful I'll be joining all of you this week with some good numbers.
I'm excited about all the wedding dresses! Would love to see pics if you want to post. I hope by the end of this to fit back into my dress from 9 years ago!
Having kind of a rough day here- I think a bug is going around. Feel very queasy and have a headache. Thought I would throw-up when I woke up this morning. I took a nap when my kiddo went down and I feel a little better. I had a shake with spinach to see if it would stay down and seems okay so far. This is the second time since starting IP that I've been sick like this. Hopefully it passes soon. I think I'll be sticking with herbal tea today. I do really wish we could have saltines since that is always what my mom gave us when we were sick, but it'll be fine.
I have done mulitiple searches on this sight and have gone thru some of the recipe threads and can not seem to find this 'recipe' that everyone raves about. They say it tastes exactly like a big mac...
I believe the ingredients are something like WF Thousand island, salad, not sure if its the soy burger or a reg hamburger patty...
Does anyone know or want to share this recipe? While I am not a huge fan of big macs, i wouldn't mind a non-cheat salad that feels like a cheat!
Also, any suggestions of how to use ground beef other than in a lettuce wrap or burger form.. looking for dinner ideas that I can kind of eat with the family...
Thanks in advance

Still lurking, researching, and trying to get a plan together to get myself (and hopefully DH) on plan. We're eating IP dinners, and I went with a RTD for breakfast, and mid-morning had half of a Pure Protien bar as a snack.
I really want to try this diet, but am sooo scared that I'm going to fail! Just reading here and seeing how supportive everyone is has been a HUGE boost!! Many thanks to everyone!!
Oh my gosh, I know how you feel. I didn't start the diet late last November when I first heard about it because I didn't want to have another thing in my life that I failed at. So I put it off and gained 20lbs.
My only regret now is that I didn't start December 1st like my Dr. wanted me to. I would be at around 160lbs now if I had.
I finally started the diet in April after having an "eye opening" moment and have never looked back. So if I can do it, I know YOU CAN DO IT!

awww girl you make me smile....might be some time before i get into new recipes...still trying to stand on my own two ip feet again! gotta build me a firm foundation for a wee bit! but i'll get my creative mind going again!
Well, home from my parents trailer and proud that I stayed OP all weekend, with two potlucks attended! (I brought my own meat, and ate raw veggies from veggie trays). I even managed to get all of my water in, and then some, which I normally find difficult while traveling or being away from home. I really think planning ahead is the key! I brought my own case of water, protein and cut up veggies, so I was all set! Hope everyone else had a great weekend. I love long weekends/short work weeks!
I am wanting to get some Walden Farms items but I can't find them in any of my local grocery stores. I wonder if the IP clinic here would sell them to me without me "joining".

Congrats on the NSV! I'm also 170 today, and also planning my wedding (slowly). Did you buy your dress in your current size? We haven't set a date yet and I'm not sure when I want to start shopping for dresses, I'm thinking after goal? I have been looking and I have been tempted when I see cute ones, last night I was looking at the Casablanca 1900, it's gorgeous! Can I ask to see your dress?? I am hoping to break into the 160's by my weigh in on Thursday. I'm chugging water like a wild woman.
thanks pretty lady!
i bought my dress at my current size (it's a 14). i was fitting into 12s too, but this one looks good at this size. wedding dresses run super small - i'm wearing 10s in "street clothes". everyone was rushing me to buy my dress now, saying that i was running out of time... so i bought one that fits me right now thinking that it's easier to take in a dress, as opposed to letting it out if i never get down to just the right size. i was too late to order anything custom, so i bought a dress off the rack. no complaints from me though!
the wedding is october 5th, so i thought that i would possibly lose a few inches but it's a silk dress with lace overlay - so a few inches would probably make the dress look/fit better. i'm going to have a seamstress add some darts at the breasts... and hopefully take in a few inches off the hips once i get closer to the wedding.
me trying to take a selfie of the dress.. best i can do for now!
That's a beautiful dress. I can't believe that's a 14. You look fantastic! And by October...on this diet.... you will probably be a lot smaller! Better have a good seamstress on hand! Congrats on the wedding!
