  • Thanks to all for the encouraging words. I will continue to ask my questions and hopefully pass on some of my "creative" ideas. lol Soon, I will be a pro...
  • Quote: Amen! I thought this board seemed more policed than necessary. Good to know we can post questions as threads. Agree with the search. When I search a topic and all that comes up is a long list of daily threads, there's no way I'm going to take the time to scroll through all of those.

I'm positive people's hearts are in the right place, and its important to remember you can convey tone through a typed message, so I'm going to guess some responses come of way more harsh than what was intended.

So, post away! This site is full of great information and support. It would be a shame not to use it to its fullest potential.
Agreed.....Its actually really hard to find answered questions in daily threads. I think the daily threads are great, but sometimes i wonder how much amazingly useful information is getting buried there. Case in point: some one recently posted a question about how to manage ketosis breath....as i have been on the forums a while i remembered a daily chat where i posted a very similar answer to the one i posted in this new thread..however i could not for the life of me find the daily chat with this topic or my post...

So while i love the daily chat thread....it might not always be the easiest to find answers later on from there. I also wonder how hard it would be to get all the useful links that are posted everyday in that thread actual stickies?

NOW to the question from our poster all peppers = a okay from my coaches

    Thats the spirit! Good job!
  • I agree that it's much easier to relook up answers if they are not in the daily thread. Who cares how many threads are started each day?! It's a lot easier to answer, and search when they each have their own.

And my coach told me colored peppers are on the limited list, but I love red peppers. So I researched it, and they used to be, but IP changed them to the select list a few years ago. I don't think my coach has realized this, but either way. I have them almost daily and it hasn't slowed down my losses. So eat away!!!
  • I am so relieved to read this post, I stopped posting and even reading after being scolded twice. I appreciate the air getting cleared because this site is a great resource for information for new and veteran IP'ers. Thank you everyone who chimed in!
  • Welcome back Easierwithtwo....when I initially posted about this, I never thought there were others who felt as I did. I was new and was very unclear on what I thought were rules. Several people on here encouraged my to stick it out and here I am. No issues lately. Lol

    Post away!
  • Haven't been on the boards for a few days, but glad I saw this. I've been reprimanded a few times for opening new threads instead of posting in the daily, so I've tried not to post questions too often. Especially glad I saw Suzanne's response about posting wherever, as every time I search the forums, a list of daily chats come up... wish I had a few spare hours to go through them, but unfortunately do not, so glad to see that things may get a little easier to find from here on

I would suggest tho if you are new to IP and this site, to read the daily chats...daily....usually takes just a few minutes and sometimes there is a lil gem of information or ideas in them
