Default Need advice on how to continue IP while on bed rest

I am scheduled to have surgery this coming Monday in order to have a 6cm (2 inch) uterine fibroid removed. My doctor advised me that recovery time will be approximately 2 weeks and I will be out on short term disability. I have no doubt that I got this fibroid due to being overweight (i.e., too much estrogen in my body, which uterine fibroids "feed" off of).

I want to know how easy is it to continue IP while I'm on bed rest? I plan to stock up on 2 weeks worth of RTD Chocolate shake. Will being on IP hinder my recovery due to the low calorie intake?

Hi FreeBird! I am also having surgery on Monday and have some of the same questions you have. Sorry I can't offer any answers, but I just wanted to send you some positive thoughts for a speedy recovery!
