Good morning! Another hot one here in NH. Feeling great today. Down 3.2 lbs halfway through the week. I loved the advice about not worrying about daily weight, but it is a hard habit to break from trying to keep myself on track. Good news, last night my husband said my breath stinks lol! I feel quite good overall and am not having cravings or reactions to soy so far! Amazing! I want to extend, especially to Lisa, but to everyone, how helpful these forums are for a beginner! Thank you!

Good morning. Just wondering how often everyone does measurements/pictures. I think I am going to do pictures every two weeks and measurements every 4 weeks. I really want to be able to track my progress as I go along.

Good morning. I take measurements at my center every 4 weeks and body photos around the end of each month on the program. It ends up being one of those two things about every two weeks as they are off-schedule.

I peeked at the scale again this morning. Can't wait for my "official" weigh in tomorrow and to update my tracker!! Oh IP, how I have missed you! <3

I have my first official weigh-in tomorrow (I've peeked at the scale too ) and am really excited to see what the real scale says. However, my TOM rolled in today, so I know that is going to throw off my numbers. So irritating!

I think my clinic measures us every week. My friend who did pics for me wants to do those every week as well, but I think it's too often. Maybe every 2 weeks as well? Or a face pic every week and body pics once a month? Not sure...

It's been a long time since I was here. And I've gained 5 lbs. back. I'm ready to start planning my kids' school year and get back into a routine and back on track. I'm doing that today! I'm also going to hit my local Sprouts (grocery) store for their double-ad Wednesday and get lots of meat and veggies on sale.

Happy Wednesday!

Default Delurking for a minute

Good Morning IP'ers,
I have been lurking about this forum since the end of May. Started IP on June 5, 2013. Today I was down 30 pounds on my home scale! I couldn't be more thrilled although it is slowing down, which I see from reading is normal.

Six weeks down for me and seven to go as I chose to do Phase1 for 90 days.
I have read and reread many areas of this forum for the last six weeks and it has been of immeasurable help to me. It seems like I can find answers to all of my questions just awaiting my search query.

Thanks to all of you who contribute and make this such an amazing resource!
Crystal

Had my WI this morning and down another 2 for 71 total. I am in the 170's now which I haven't seen for probably 15 years, but the bigger news is that I am no longer in the obese BMI range. YAY!!

Had a good WI this morning. After struggling for two weeks and gaining 2 pounds I got back on program 100% this week and it paid off because I lost 4.6. Yay! Feels so good back on track!

Good Morning! Is my BMR the amount of calories my body burns in a day, just being? I'm really getting into the math part of the weight loss/maintenance and I'm getting just a little confused! Does anyone have any advice?

Good morning! Hoping everyone is having a good day!

I achieved my first goal (actually overshot it by a little!) at my WI yesterday, so I had a pedicure to celebrate (I had a giftcard I forgot about so it was a super treat since I didn't have to pay for it too!). My toenails are a pretty red and every time I see them I am so motivated to keep going on IP!

I'm thinking about setting my next goal/reward today. Anybody "rewarding" themselves and have any good ideas? I was thinking about making a list like some people have on their siggys, but I was too nervous when I started to really do it. Anybody want to share?

That's correct. Are you using myfitnesspal or any other sites to log your calories? I've been using it and also log my workouts. It really helps me to stay on track.
