I was ready to chew my own arm off for the first few weeks. I remember dishing out my cat's food one day and thinking, "gee, this actually smells really GOOD", and bringing it up to my nose for another wonderful whiff. A clear indication I was hungry, because the smell of my cat's food normally gives me the dry heaves.
But then, on day 22, something changed. I wasn't hungry anymore. I wasn't counting the minutes between meals. I wasn't picturing my cat covered in BBQ sauce. I think some of us are just slow to get there.
It might help you to have half of your meat protein with your lunch, and divide your snack in half to eat between meals. I often do both around TOM when the hungries sometimes come back.
Remember too that if you're exercising you need to eat an extra packet.
But whatever you do, don't give up WBurns. You are doing so well and it WILL get better!!
Ok you totally crack me up. As my cat sits at the foot of my bed my first thought is hmmmm yum
Hi Everyone - I first heard of Ideal Protein early last week and signed up with a local clinic a couple days later. I am a chronic dieter and I couldn't believe I never heard of this program. I'm very excited about this journey. The success I see on this site is very encouraging. I'm 5 days in and so far so good! First week weigh in is Wednesday. There is so much info on this site! You guys are fantastic!
I'm been on it two weeks today exactly and I am soo pleased. Sure I would LOVE to have the pistachio cake with icing that I dreamt about the other night( yes, Im dreaming of food) but I know I got to the weight I was because of the choices I ate. So that thinking makes it better. However, it did not begin to get easier for me until about a week and a half in. It will get easier I promise.
Hi I started Ideal Protein diet on Monday May 6, I feel I am doing well so far.
I want to lose 107 pounds and so far I have lost 5. Just starting to crave sweets, I am trying to stay strong. So far my only side effects have been a few dizzy spells and massive break outs on my face.
Saphi
I keep having a lot of breakouts as well, is this common?
