But P2 is just like P1, only instead of a packet at lunch you have the meat protein and veggies same as dinner. None of the phases of IP are NO carbs, but you don't add food carbs until P3, and then only at breakfast.

Not much new with me. I'm having stay focused a bit more today to keep on plan, but it's all worth it. I need to stay out of the kitchen for the rest of the evening (I made DH some baked things and they look much better than I'm sure they really taste). Maybe I will go to bed a bit early

Thanks Scorbett1103, I thought it sounded weird.

I am having some really bad cravings and temptations today/tonight. My hubby is working nights and my kids are in bed so the kitchen is open and free for the taking with no one to tell me different But I am having will power and am sitting here instead. I was looking up info on Phase 2 to help get me over this feeling. 5 nights 4 days and I'll be going into phase 2. I can do it!!

Thanks for sharing Sonya! We started close to the same stats (even though my clinic swears I am 5'2") so it's great to see where you were and where you are now!

As others have said, it's the same as Phase 1 except you replace your lunch packet with meat.

However, Phase 2 can actually turn out to be lower carb, yet higher calorie, than Phase 1. For example, if you usually have the chocolate drink (9 carb, 7 net) for lunch and replace it with chicken or beef, you are having 0 carbs aside from the natural carbs in your 2 cups of veggies.
